11 Initial Audit by Waste Partners Segregate and Limit Contamination Climb the Waste Hierarchy Understand our waste stream & movements Advise on: possible compostable products Bin type & locations Signage Staff training 70% of waste material was divided into different recyclable waste streams before leaving the site 30% of general waste was sent to waste contractors, who subdivide it further to recycle what they can. What couldn't be recycled was processed for recovery through a Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) facility. Delegate further with suppliers and identify opportunities to change over to eco-friendly products / packaging / procedures and have greater involvement with our stakeholders. 11

13 KEY HIGHLIGHTS LED Lighting rollout throughout building Upgrade of inefficient Visitor Experience monitors/ projectors ReGen Drives lifts (60% energy saving) Isolation of Exhibitions on particular floors during events & functions when the full building is not in use. Monitoring temp control (draft exclusion, window seals) A regular preventative maintenance schedule to ensure that all electrical functions are operating at peak efficiencies. 13

Reduced capacity in toilet cisterns from 12 to 10 litres. Waterless Urinals installed throughout building Catering team awareness initiative A regular preventative maintenance schedule to ensure that pipes, taps and drains are in the fully functioning order. 15
