3 Page 3 INTRODUCTION The name Juffali is not new in the energy sector of Saudi Arabia. Since the late 1940 s Juffali has played a major role in the development of Saudi Arabia. It has introduced many new quality products, as well as innova ve services solu ons and advanced technologies to the country. Un l 1980 s,companies under Juffali like Saudi Na onal Electricity Company (SNEC), Madinah Electricity Company and others were responsible for the power supply to the general public as well as to several industrial units in the west and east of Saudi Arabia. In keeping with the tradi on of serving the energy sector of Saudi Arabia and to provide its ci zens the best in class service was formed. (EICO) is a joint venture between Sinoma Interna onal Engineering Co. Ltd. and Walid Ahmad Juffali Company. The headquarter of the company is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Sinoma is one of the leading engineering companies in China with more than 10,000 employees worldwide. Sinoma is mainly involved in LSTK of large-scale projects in China and worldwide ranging from engineering consultancy, engineering design, civil works, construc- on, erec on, mechanical and electrical equipment manufacturing, commissioning, opera on and maintenance etc. Sinoma has successfully executed projects in over 60 countries.

EICO has established the environmental policy with the aim that is appropriate to the purpose of EICO and that provides a framework for establishing and reviewing environmental objectives. The environmental policy also firmly commits EICO to ISO 14001:2015 through a statement that EICO is committed to comply with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015, and is committed to continually improve the effectiveness of our ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System. This environmental obligation is the responsibility of managers, supervisors and employees at every level of the company and will be achieved through the following key objectives: Comply with the requirements of all applicable laws, regulations and standards. Ensure management are actively involved and provide demonstrated leadership to support continuous improvement in environmental performance. Communicate and consult with all employees (and others), to increase their awareness of their environmental obligations and responsibilities. Strive to continuously improve our environmental management systems and practices through a process of auditing, review and revision. Investigate and ensure a prompt response to all work-related environmental incidents and develop corrective action to prevent recurrence. We recognize that we need to continue to improve our environmental performance by committing to fulfil compliance obligations & to prevent environmental pollution. In everything we do compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, specific industry requirements and our own cardinal rules is the minimum acceptable level of performance.
