2 Introduction BELECTRIC MIDDLE EAST LTD is part of BELECTRIC HOLDING an international PV System Integrator and PV Component Manufacturer with its Headquarters in Kolitzheim, Germany, that encompasses more than 25 companies concentrated on the development and EPC turnkey implementation of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems in 24 different countries worldwide. BELECTRIC's vision is to achieve grid parity state with conventional power generation, through climate-friendly photovoltaic solutions, under all climate conditions and for many different installation types. For this sustainable and economic target, its in house R&D professionals develop and design innovative and price-competitive photovoltaic concepts with state-of-the-art technologies, highly durable and reliable. BELECTRIC owns several BoS component manufacturing facilities and produces BoS components for the local markets with local skilled workers according to the local quality, health and security standards (Germany, USA, Italy, India and UAE in the future). BELECTRICs BoS components are used for own PV Plants and also sold to other PV project companies. BELECTRIC has a successfully implemented over 800 MW PV projects worldwide and approximately 15MW in the Middle East. The very first PV project in UAE was implemented in 2006 on the Pacific Control building in Dubai. BELECTRIC hast completed 97% of all projects in the history of the company on time and in budget. The annual performance reports show that the calculated project yields has been met at 98%. All BELECTRIC s projects are performing to the full satisfaction of the project companies and the customers. BELECTRIC never had any major claim or legal case in the history of the company. BELECTRIC has long term experience in Project Finance of Solar PV plants in Germany and International projects. BELECTRIC is also handling the import and export financing together with different international finance institutes.

8 Local Policy Statement All steps to realize a solar power plant will be executed by BELECTRIC MIDDLE EAST LTD project planning team, by own construction teams, using the own machinery. All local workforces will be trained on all aspects of design, planning, implementation, operation & maintenance and service of the PV plants. However, the local team will always be backed by the experience of the experts in the headquarters of Belectric in Germany. Thus an important center of competence will be created in UAE. This concept of building capacities and local expertise in combination with experience and know-how of the headquarters has been successfully applied in all international subsidiaries of BELECTRIC so far. BELECTRIC MIDDLE EAST LTD aims to: Setup manufacturing and production facilities for BELECTRIC BoS components, creating local jobs, building local capacities and skills and educate employees. Transfer of BELECTRICs know-how about manufacturing, system integration, value chain management, operation, maintenance. In the long term establishing a competence center with local professionals in the UAE to supply know- how and material to the MENA region. All BELECTRIC companies are interested to bring their knowledge and know-how to the local markets and create support centers with local experts.

13 IEC Compliant All turnkey power plants implemented by BELECTRIC are IEC compliant. All materials, components, tools and machinery of Belectric is certified by TUV and/or Fraunhofer in Germany. If local regulations require to comply with local standards, BELECTRIC will either procure or purchase materials from local suppliers and qualify it to assure quality, health and security according international standards. All the materials, components and machinery will be tested and certified against BELECTRIC standards and local regulations and standards. BELECTRIC executes all work and services according the relevant standards of the respective country of destination.
