37 Heat Pumps 2018 PROGRAM CHANGES Effective April 2, 2018 Balance Point can be up to 35 F (in some circumstances) Duct Sealing and Insulation will no longer be required when installing a heat pump, but is strongly recommended Ductwork will need to be tested Duct Testing Affidavit required NEW FORM AHRI Certificate will no longer be required Itemized Sizing Calculator for complex homes NEW TOOL 37
38 Heat Pumps 2018 PROGRAM CHANGES Effective April 2, 2018 System shall be sized EITHER to a balance point of 30 F or less, at AHRI rating conditions OR to the capacity of the existing ductwork, not to exceed 35 F. When sizing to the existing ductwork, a duct sizing calculation shall be provided showing duct capacity and static pressure. Specifications updated NEW 4/1/2018 Equipment Sizing - section F 38

40 2018 PROGRAM CHANGES Duct Sealing & Insulation Will be removed from the Insulation Certificate Weatherization Effective April 2, 2018 Individual condos may now be submitted on the Single Family Existing Homes Rebate Application (insulation and windows only). Single Family rebate amounts will apply. 40
