35 WHAT WE HEARD Duct Sealing and Insulation information is redundant The 30 F Balance Point limits opportunities in older homes The Duct Sealing requirement adds cost and complexity, and customers are opting out We need a Sizing Calculator that has multiple measure entries Customers requesting Nest/ecobee smart thermostats Is there an easier way to handle individual condo units in buildings over four (4) attached units? 35

36 WHAT WE DID Reviewed Reporting requirements Sizing Calculator options Program specifications Program processes 36

37 Heat Pumps 2018 PROGRAM CHANGES Effective April 2, 2018 Balance Point can be up to 35 F (in some circumstances) Duct Sealing and Insulation will no longer be required when installing a heat pump, but is strongly recommended Ductwork will need to be tested Duct Testing Affidavit required NEW FORM AHRI Certificate will no longer be required Itemized Sizing Calculator for complex homes NEW TOOL 37
