3 New staff member checklist Position: Employee number: Manager/Supervisor: First day Sign on Human Resources, top floor, Lamble Building Superannuation Identity card complete forms for card and access, take to Security, located in Dixson Library you need to bring 100 points of identity. Go the Staff Services of the webpage once you have your log in After hours access to building, Go the Staff Services of the webpage once you have your log in IT and access complete account registration form staff/your staff account Phonebook to include your details in the staff directory Parking permit go to current/staff services/campus services/parking Your Induction to UNE Your induction to UNE consists of: 1. Induction in your workplace 2. UNE webpage resources 3. Face to Face induction sessions 4. Online induction course Induction in your workplace Check with your supervisor and/or administrative staff to organise: First Day paperwork is completed Introductions in your workplace and other relevant colleagues/areas Office layout toilets, team rooms, emergency procedures Work space computer, phone, printers and other equipment setting up, access and any training or procedures Meeting with your supervisor: Clarify your role and position, contract/engagement Goal setting for your probation period Local knowledge mailing lists, protocols, procedures Supervisor s Induction checklist Workplace Specific OHS induction

Follow on sessions commence at 12:00am in the ODU training room, Level 3, Lamble building. Sessions are independent of each other and staff can commence with any session. If you miss one session you can take it in the following block. * This session is compulsory for Academic Staff only. Professional Staff are welcome to attend but it is not compulsory.
