It s about gaining clarity on strengths, values, and skills and using this self-awareness to drive greater value for a career and a company. To achieve these goals, participants learn to demonstrate their value through everything they do and make an indelible mark on their internal and external constituencies. They must build a powerful and pervasive reputation among team members and with everyone whom they interact. September 18, 2012 Leaders as Teachers, Coaches, and Mentors Throughout history, leaders have naturally served as teachers, coaches, and mentors. Yet, in today s busy and competitive business world, these same leader-led teaching, coaching, and mentoring practices are inconsistently implemented. This is a highly interactive program with numerous opportunities for participants to adapt the content to their work situations.
15 P a g e 15 October 31, 2012 Strategy Execution: Frameworks and Best Practices This seminar will introduce participants to best current thinking concerning strategy execution; it will explore best practices across diverse industries, and, importantly, it will introduce attendees to diagnostic frameworks that they can apply to live business issues. Emphasis will be placed on three interrelated areas: 1. increasing execution IQ ; 2. identifying and managing strategy accelerators ; and 3. execution driven leadership practices. November 14, 2012 Getting to the Honest Truth: Improving Leadership, Communication, and Teamwork One of the top problems in the work world today, is the failure to distinguish what is noticed (the facts of the situation) from what is imagined (opinions, thoughts, evaluations, conclusions). Think of how often people operate and make decisions as if their opinions are fact rather than exploring the real truth. This misdiagnosis becomes even more exacerbated when people have different agendas, goals, and backgrounds. This workshop will demonstrate tools and techniques for improving open, honest communication and provide a forum to practice them. December 11, 2012 Corporate Alchemy: Turning Employee Insights into Gold This seminar will show participants how the best managers and organizations encourage, collect, and implement large numbers of employee ideas. It will show them the principles involved, the benefits expected, and the possible pitfalls along the way and how to avoid them. Front-line ideas are a powerful engine that can help attain performance excellence and generate a sustainable competitive advantage. The best leading indicator of a unit s future performance is the number of implemented ideas it is getting right now.
