1 Volunteer Position Title Bus Drivers Team / Program Various Supervised by Program Coordinator Indicative fortnightly commitment 8.00 am 2.00 pm Monday - Friday Location Various locations in the St George and Sutherland Shire. (subject to change on a needs basis when location specified). You are responsible for arranging transport to and from this address and any future address. In accordance with various government requirements, 3Bridges Community policy requires screening for most volunteer roles. This will include Police Criminal History Check and a Working with Children Check in certain roles. All bus drivers must complete additional traffic and conviction disclosures as well as additional disclosures around relevant medical conditions. Screening / Training requirements All drivers of public passenger vehicles must provide a certified copy of their RMS driving record every 3 years. Bus drivers are required to notify their supervisor immediately if their licence is suspended, or you receive any traffic convictions involving the consumption of alcohol, drugs or any dangerous driving convictions. 3Bridges Community may request an updated Driving Record from the RMS at any time. 3Bridges Community may request at any time that you undertake a medical assessment to ensure you are fit and proper person to transport 3Bridges Clients. A structured induction on our Values, organisational

2 policies and procedures, volunteer roles and responsibilities as well as WHS training is mandatory for every role. Description of the volunteer role The volunteer role involves driving a 3Bridges bus to pick up clients, take them to their venue and return them home. Key responsibilities Pick up and transport clients to various venues in the Sydney region. Drop off clients to their home or centre. Assistance with getting on and off the bus. Client interaction. Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle at all times. Maintain the log sheet in the bus and the Vehicle WHS Protocol Report. Maintain a clear driving record and up to date with the current road rules. Notify schedulers of any discrepancies with transport runs or timeframes. Notify coordinator of any malfunction or maintenance required. Attributes, Skills and Experience Essential Desirable Attributes Skills Patient, honest, kind, sensitivity, trustworthy, flexible, accepting, punctual, compassionate and non judgemental. LR Drivers Licence
