As a family-owned company we particularly value open and respectful interaction. Expert knowledge alone is not everything. In professional life your personality is also important. That is why our training concept includes three multi-day seminars that we structure and deliver ourselves. Topics such as target orientation, responsibility, structured work, quality awareness, problem-solving and cooperation become tangible and clear concepts in interesting seminars and outdoor exercises. 6 6 Electronics technician for industrial engineering Do you know your way around mathematics and physics? Are you able to understand abstract processes and think logically? Then training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering is perfect for you. What a typical training day looks like We can teach you a great deal, such as how to plan and implement the energy supply for machines and production plants and how these are started up, maintained and serviced. We impart a broad knowledge base on all electrical engineering processes to make sure you can quickly find and rectify failures and faults. You also learn about how individual components are assembled into complex assemblies. The practical part of your basic training is predominantly held at our plant in Graben- Neudorf. Some aspects of the technical training are delivered in Bruchsal. At the same time, your practical training will be supplemented with theoretical knowledge acquired at the vocational school. What happens after the training program After completing your training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering you can, for example, work as a specialist in plant maintenance and further extend your comprehensive knowledge and skills. If you want more for your future and want to continue to develop your skills, you can also choose to complete training as a supervisor or specialist technician. Are you good at working with your hands and do you apply a good deal of logic and extensive technical knowledge when completing tasks? Then this training program is right for you. What a typical training day looks like As an electronics technician for units and systems you will learn all about planning and implementing electronic circuits. The focus in electronics production is on producing components for electronic drives. As an electronics technician for units and systems you are a true all-rounder: You develop powerful test systems and test setups and prepare the relevant documentation. You design and produce circuits. You have to apply your knowledge and skills in equal measure. The practical part of your basic training is predominantly held at our plant in Graben- Neudorf. Some aspects of the technical training are delivered in Bruchsal. At the same time, your practical training will be supplemented with theoretical knowledge acquired at the vocational school. What happens after the training program As a qualified electronics technician for units and systems you can, for example, choose to work as a specialist in electronics production or plant maintenance. You may also choose to continue your development as a supervisor or specialist technician for example. You provide the most important requirements: Character, strong abilities and commitment.

Then you are well-suited to the mechatronics technician training program. What a typical training day looks like Creative minds will feel right at home. The mechatronics technician training program teaches you how electronic, mechanical and pneumatic components work and interact. You assemble various assemblies and components and perform the relevant adjustments. You also learn how to startup, service and maintain machines. In short, your training is demanding and extremely diverse. The practical part of your mechatronics technician basic training is predominantly held at our plant in Graben-Neudorf. Some aspects of the technical training are delivered in Bruchsal. At the same time, your practical training will be supplemented with theoretical knowledge acquired at the vocational school. What happens after the training program Your broad knowledge base means you can go on to work in a number of different departments. This includes customer service or the maintenance department for our cutting-edge production plants. 12 12 Industrial mechanic Were technology, mathematics and physics your favorite subjects at school? Are you good at working with your hands and interested in modern processing machines? Then this training program is the right choice for you. What a typical training day looks like You learn all about the manual and mechanical machining of materials and how to assemble our products. We let you operate a diverse range of machines: You learn how to handle automated production plants and complex manufacturing systems. The practical part of your industrial mechanic training program is predominantly held at our plant in Graben-Neudorf. If you want to continue your professional development and want to take more responsibility you may choose to complete a supervisor or technician course. 14 14 Technical product designer Do you have good spatial perception? Do you enjoy drawing with precision and attention to detail? Are you fascinated by technology? Then this training program is the right path for you. What a typical training day looks like To make sure you understand what you will go on to design as a technical product designer and how, you start by learning the fundamentals of practical metalworking. We also give you an insight into the fields of pneumatics and control technology. All this takes place while you complete your fundamental drawing and design training. While carrying out small, independent projects, you complete graphics and documentation and develop detailed designs. Incidentally, drawings are no longer twodimensional, but are created from three-dimensional models using CAD systems. That is why we also give you an in-depth grounding in 3D computer modeling. The practical part of your basic training is predominantly held at our plant in Graben- Neudorf. Some aspects of the technical training are delivered in Bruchsal. At the same time, your practical training will be supplemented with theoretical knowledge acquired at the vocational school. What happens after the training program As a technical product designer working in development, research and design, you use the CAD system to prepare 2D and 3D designs of our products and components. 16 16 Qualified IT specialists for application development Do you enjoy surfing the net and have you also tried creating your own website? Are you attracted to programming and the logic that it involves? Then this training program is the right one for you. What a typical training day looks like We let you live out your passion for computers. To create a solid foundation, the first part of your training provides the fundamental skills associated with IT support, hardware and software products, networks, servers/data centers and IT security. You also learn various programming languages in parallel. You then design and develop applications for our employees, adapt user interfaces and manage databases. The practical part of your training predominantly takes place at the Bruchsal site. At the same time, your practical training will be supplemented with theoretical knowledge acquired at the vocational school. What happens after the training program We offer a range of employment opportunities for IT specialists who are qualified in application development. For example, you will go on to map work processes and internal department requirements in SAP systems while supporting sales or production with your expertise, for example. You develop and implement new systems and manage the maintenance and availability of existing applications. IT is constantly developing and so is your working environment at SEW-EURODRIVE. This means that regular training sessions and development courses are essential.

Did you install your network at home yourself and would you like to find out what a large-scale version looks like? Then you will feel right at home in this training program. What a typical training day looks like Are you fascinated by computers, smartphones and tablets? Then you have come to the right place! Around 200 employees in our IT department work on networking our global sites and providing strong IT solutions. A variety of tasks with enormous practical relevance awaits you! You analyze, plan and implement information and telecommunication systems using innovative IT technologies. Your work is also focused on our employees as customers of the IT department. You learn how to resolve complex user problems, such as in the IT hotline, and can use your experience to develop secure IT systems. The practical part of your training predominantly takes place at the Bruchsal site. At the same time, your practical training will be supplemented with theoretical knowledge acquired at the vocational school. What happens after the training program Qualified IT specialists for system integration have a range of employment opportunities in IT. For example, in the areas of support, hardware and software selection, networks, servers/data centers and IT security. Both IT and your working environment are constantly developing. Then this training program is the right path for you. What a typical training day looks like As an industrial clerk you are responsible for ensuring our business processes run smoothly nothing works without you. We make sure you are extremely well prepared for this important task: Right from the very beginning of your practical training, we get you working with our commercial departments in the Bruchsal and Graben- Neudorf plants, such as Purchasing, Sales, Finances, HR and Marketing. After completing your training, you will know how the industrial company SEW- EURODRIVE is structured and how the company s processes interact with each other. The practical part of your training predominantly takes place at the Bruchsal site, but also in Graben-Neudorf. At the same time, your practical training will be supplemented with theoretical knowledge acquired at the vocational school. What happens after the training program After completing your training, you have the opportunity to work in one of the departments that you have already become familiar with. There, you will complete the tasks assigned to you on your own responsibility. In Sales, for example, you will work on documenting and checking customer orders, while you may be responsible for processing material orders for production in Purchasing or assigning invoice payments in the Finance department. Depending on the department in which you are employed, you can also choose from a range of development opportunities, such as an industrial business administrator, accountant or human resources manager.

21 21 I m never bored. For example, in purchasing, I can create orders, work on the arrears list and contact suppliers on my own initiative. In the Human Resources department, I am involved in applicant correspondence and in Sales I can independently enter orders for gear units.
