2 Our Story In 1998, we set out to create a company that we would want to work for a place where like-minded people could make a real difference to ambitious clients undertaking major change. We wanted to work within an environment where there is freedom to grow, with simple rules and a flat structure, where roles are viewed as different, not superior. That company is Project One, and the values we started with hold true today. We are proud to be working with leading clients at the heart of their most demanding and exciting change programmes. These span many sectors, almost every area of business and all types of change from business transformation to regulatory-driven change. We are now recognised as a leading change consultancy and continue to be asked to take on more and more exciting engagements. Due to client demand, we are seeking highly experienced programme managers and directors, who can bring leadership and experience to change. People who can build fantastic client relationships at all levels, deliver results through practical action and like to be stretched. We understand that making a career move is not a trivial decision. There s much to think about: the work, company culture, reward, location and travel. 4 About Project One We are passionate about helping ambitious organisations to change, thrive and grow. Working with some of the UK s biggest names, we re involved in digital transformation, regulatory change, business separation, IT transformation, cost reduction and shared service transformation; the sort of change that has a big impact on their business. Our Team We operate across the UK in regional teams, with a central Shared Services Team providing HR, Finance, Communications, IT and Knowledge Management support. Our team of over 100 consultants are all highly experienced and battle-hardened, able to face the toughest challenges in the most demanding environments. All have worked for Big 4 consultancies and/or leading organisations. Our Clients Based in the UK, we are proud to work with FTSE 100 and equivalent companies such as, AstraZeneca, John Lewis Partnership, BAE Systems, HSBC, Santander, Rolls-Royce, The Co-operative Group and Virgin Media. Whatever the goal, our resolve is the same; improve the clarity, accelerate the pace and increase the certainty of business-critical change. 7 Meet the team Our consultants all have extensive consulting or blue-chip company experience. Many have worked at senior levels for big name consultancies. No egos. Just talented people with the right attitude and behaviour, an unwavering focus on our customers success. Janet Budd I have over 15 years experience working with industry leading clients on complex transformational programmes as well as smaller scale projects across multiple industries. What I enjoy most about working at Project One is that you get all the best bits of consulting with none of the negatives; interesting clients and projects and a great network of experienced consultants to draw on without the need for internal administration to take you away from delivering great value for your client. Mike Howarth What attracted me here was the overall ethos, the pride that people have and the overall level of energy and pace. 8 Bob Batchelor I am in my 10th year with Project One and the company has consistently delivered against its promises to me when I joined. Every day I work with inspirational colleagues who challenge and support me being the best I can be. Steve O Gorman Joining Project One was a classic no brainer in the end and after a considerably elaborate recruitment process, it was easy to feel there was nowhere else I could possibly want to work. Project One provides, for me at least, the ideal combination of challenge and clarity of thought. The assignments we undertake are by necessity challenging; we don t claim to be run of the mill, we thrive on accepting challenge and providing outstanding, often unexpected, results.
