5 PAGE 5 OF 24 DIR NUMBER VER 7) Procedure: a) Safety Information: i) NA b) Environmental Requirements: i) Dispose of used batteries and scrapped parts properly into waste receptacles according to national or local regulations. c) Special Handling Requirements: i) NA d) Review Paperwork: i) Obtain a copy of service report form ii) Record the service order number (located on left of traveler) on the service report form. iii) Confirm item matches traveler per MPD WI-PS (1) Circle Yes or No on the service report form to the Item & Serial number correct on Traveler? question. (a) If the item or serial number is incorrect: (i) Have the order corrected by Data Entry before proceeding. e) Initial Cosmetic Check: i) Print the Usage 4 BOM: (1) See comments on traveler for applicable product number. (2) Examples: E1R, E2R, F1R, etc. (3) Update the print-out. (a) Number the pages (X of Y) and include the date and your initials. (b) Attach the printout to the back of the paperwork.

6 PAGE 6 OF 24 DIR NUMBER VER ii) Examine Device Labeling: (1) Photo 1 (2) Photo 2 Using the conversion table from TSB as follows: o If the TLA Part Number is listed in the left column (Label TLA P/N and Model): It can be left as is as long as it meets the cosmetic guidelines. Note: P/Ns in the left column are not language dependant. o If the TLA Part Number is listed in the right column (Service Tool P/N), it can be left as is as long as: It meets the cosmetic guidelines and You are not converting to a different language. If converting to a different language it will need to be updated. The photo example is to convert an English unit (0104) to a Spanish unit XX To XX For XX, carry over onto the new label the same value as the original label. Note on the service report form any labels that do not meet the BOM requirements. o See Associated Documents section.

7 PAGE 7 OF 24 DIR NUMBER VER (3) Confirm all other device labels match the usage 4 BOM print-out. (a) Record any labels that need to be replaced on the service report form. iii) Inspect the exterior of the unit: (1) Refer to Refurbished Cosmetic Guidelines. (a) See Associated Documents section. (2) Record any issues found on the service report form. (3) Update the service report form Initial Cosmetic Check section. (a) Update the pass/fail results. (b) Enter the date. See MPD WI-PS-0025 for format. (c) Sign your initials. f) Service Repair: i) Perform the needed repairs and then return to this procedure. ii) Affix the labels that were identified on the service report form to the device. g) Final Cosmetic Check: i) Refer to Refurbished Cosmetic Guidelines. (1) See Associated Documents section. ii) If DUT passes Cosmetic check: (1) Proceed to the next section. iii) If DUT fails Cosmetic check: (1) Record what issues were found on the service report form. (2) Perform any repairs needed and then return to this procedure. (3) Update the service report form Final Cosmetic Check section. (a) Update the pass/fail results. (b) Enter the date. See MPD WI-PS-0025 for format. (c) Sign your initials.

8 PAGE 8 OF 24 DIR NUMBER VER h) Final ATE/Functional Tests: i) Perform all tests per: (1) VSM III ATE & FUNCTIONAL TEST, PRODUCT SERVICE. (a) See Associated Documents section. ii) If DUT passes All Tests: (1) Proceed to the next section. iii) If DUT fails any of the Final ATE or Functional Tests: (1) Record what issues were found on the service report form. (2) Perform any repairs needed and then return to this procedure. (3) Update the service report form Final ATE/Functional Tests section. (a) Update the pass/fail results. (b) Enter the date. See MPD WI-PS-0025 for format. (c) Sign your initials. i) Package Unit: i) Examine Device: (1) Confirm all applicable labels for the language configuration are correctly placed on the device. ii) Determine Accessory Requirements: (1) Include all accessories as listed on applicable Usage 4 BOM based on model of VSM 3 being packaged: (2) See comments on traveler for applicable product number. (3) Examples: E1R, E2R, F1R, etc. (4) Check off each item on the hard copy of the Usage 4 BOM as you package the product. (5) Record the BP cuff lot code on the print out of the BOM.

10 PAGE 10 OF 24 DIR NUMBER VER (2) Label Printer Set-up: (a) Set up the Brady 300 Printer according to the device manual at the bench or using (b) Thread the , RIBBON,PRINTER,THERMAL TRANSFER,4.33""W and LABEL,THERMAL TRANSFER-PRINTABLE,3X2 into the printer (c) On the computer desktop, select CodeSoft 7 Enterprise:

19 PAGE 19 OF 24 DIR NUMBER VER (l) A Counter0 window will display. (i) Serial Number entry: 1. The program is set up to automatically print the JA and a total of 6 numbers. 2. It will insert zeros as needed in front of the numbers entered into the Start value field to reach a total of 6 numbers. a. Example: i. Unit Serial Number is JA ii. Enter 1234 iii. The label will print JA (ii) Press OK 1. Photo 11

21 PAGE 21 OF 24 DIR NUMBER VER (3) Print 3 Labels: (a) With the data entered for the label and the Brady printer set-up, print the label by selecting CTRL+P or the Print icon on the toolbar. (i) The Print window will display. (ii) Enter 3 in the Copies of each label box. (iii) Press OK. 1. Three labels will generate on the printer. 2. Photo 13

23 PAGE 23 OF 24 DIR NUMBER VER (4) Inspect Labels: (a) Check the labels for defects due to printing. (i) Re-print labels with defects. (ii) The following are examples of label defects due to mis-alignment of label stock & printer ribbon: Label stock mis-aligned with printer: Mis-aligned printer ribbon Mis-aligned printer ribbon (5) Label Application: (a) Apply one label to the traveler. (b) Affix a 2 nd serial number label to the outer carton. (i) Do not cover any lettering printed on the outer carton. (c) The 3rd label should remain on the backing & should be taped to the box for use in shipping. (i) Use care to apply the tape to the backing & not on the label itself. (d) Tape the outer carton closed when the unit, foam inserts and accessory box have been inserted. (6) Update the service report form Package Unit section. (a) Check the box on the service report form to indicate all accessories & labels have been added. (b) Enter the date. See MPD WI-PS-0025 for format. (c) Sign your initials.
