Detailed/ Instructions, Scope of work, Terms & Conditions and format for quoting the rate as per Annexure I & II and can be downloaded from 1. In case of non compliance of instructions and all the terms & conditions, the offer will not be considered. 3. The institute being an Educational Institution, a special rebate/discount may be allowed. 4. Quotations without GST number will be invalid. All corrigenda, addenda, amendments and clarifications to Notice Inviting Quotation will be uploaded on the website The Quotees shall keep themselves updated with all such developments.

2 5. In case the last date of receipt/ opening of Quotation fall on holiday, the bids shall be opened on next working day at same time. 6. The Quotation should be neatly typed or written. Any deviation in the offer shall lead to rejection. 7. Quotation(s) received after last date and time of offer submission will be rejected. No offer will be entertained by /FAX. 8. Supplier must mention Full address with Telephone No., Fax No. & E mail on their envelope also. 3 TERMS & CONDITIONS Annexure -I 1. Rate should be quoted in Indian Rupees only. 2. Rate should be quoted F.O.R NIT Jalandhar. 3. Quote Taxes Extra otherwise it will be assumed inclusive of taxes. 4. Quotee should be reputed contractor holding experience of similar work. 5. Payment: 100% payment will be released after completion of the work and satisfactory inspection of the work by the committee constituted for the purpose. 6. Material: The material to be installed/used or replaced must be got inspected from the committee before execution of the work. 7. Site visit: Contractors are advised to visit the site before quoting the rate. 8. Validity: All quotations should be valid for at least 90 days excluding the date of opening. 9. Delivery/Completion: Date of delivery / completion must be mentioned. It should not be more than 40 days. 10. Work order of Two similar completed works costing upto 2 lacs must be provided by quotee. Similar work means "Annual Maintenance Contracts for water supply, sewerage installations." Please note that the details furnished shall be for the maintenance jobs and not for installation works. The vendors submitting the credential of installation works shall not be eligible. 11. The quantity/scope of work may vary as per. 12. Penalty: The Director, Jalandhar reserves the right to impose 0.5% (Half) per cent penalty per week on account of delay in supply/execution of work. If execution is done beyond the stipulated date. the penalty will be imposed. The total penalty should not exceed 10% of the value of the delayed work. 13. The supplier cannot charge rates more than MRP. If the rates are charged more than MRP rates at any stage, the excess charged amount will be deducted out of the payment. 14. The AMC contract will be awarded for the period of one year from the date of acceptance of award of contract. Read and Accepted Signature of the Quotee with Stamp

4 15. The Director may accept a quotation in part of whole of the quantity offered, reject any quotation without assigning any reasons, may not accept the lowest quote. 16. If there is any dispute/doubt, the decision of the Director, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar shall be final. All disputes are subject to Jalandhar Jurisdiction only. 17. The successful bidder needs to submit a performance bank guarantee in shape of demand draft amounting to Rs. 10, in favour of Security Account NIT Jalandhar. This security money will be retained till the expiry of award of contract. ACCEPTANCE I/We accept the above said detailed/ Instructions, Terms & Conditions, Specification of Required Item/Equipment/ job and shall comply with them strictly. Further, I declare that undersigned/firm/company/agency has not been blacklisted or debarred in the past by Union/State Govt. or any organization from taking part in Govt. Tender in India. Repair of 25 HP/30 HP/15 HP/7.5 HP Submersible pumps 2. Routine Repair & Maintenance works for Water Supply & Sewerage Scheme The miscelleneous items of work as per Punjab CSR especially mentioned under chapter 28,29 & 30 are required to be carried from time to time on need. For these itrems, premium charges may be quoted below/ above the CSR rates. Cost of work On the of previous year expenditure on such works as mentioned above, the tentative expenditure shall be Rs 2.00 lacs for one year.
