Our client base runs from single site Hire Companies to National Companies with 300 plus sites. The hire industry by its nature and operations, probably has a higher Health & safety compliance requirement than almost other industries. Most hire companies deal with both the general public and business to business clients who, by their variance of operations, can have a working environment from public events, to major construction sites and private houses. The hire industry must ensure that its hire fleet is supplied in an as new condition whether this is an electric drill, a portable toilet or a marquee, and there is specific legislation as well as the standard Health & Safety requirements that apply. HSCS recognise that all hire sites are not the same, clients do not have the same systems and approaches, the hire industry is wide and varied. We therefore also recognise that different clients will have different needs, we pride ourselves in offering tailor made courses that meet the legal and Health & Safety requirements AND a clients own systems and requirements. Where possible we will work with clients to ensure the most cost effective outcome to their needs and requirements, linking courses, accommodating weekend training, adjusting courses to include client systems and procedures etc. Services HSCS also offer a wide variety of services that are applicable to the hire industry including Forklift, Lorry Loader training, plant operator training, risk assessment, policy formulation, site audits, Health & Safety manual creation, Manager & Supervisor training etc. Added Value Opportunities HSCS work with a number of hire companies that offer their clients training on plant and equipment. This can be as part of their own portfolio of services thereby generating additional income, or by simply offering a focus venue for added hire opportunities. This can also extend to hire companies offering additional services such as risk assessing or Health & Safety site audits, again extending the Hire company s portfolio and offering their clients a one stop shop. Course Information Many of the courses detailed here have attendance limits placed upon them. We at HSCS believe that if a course is devised to encompass Health & Safety practical requirements, then candidates should, and must, be able to display those skills on completion of training, if they do not undertake these practical assessments then the employer cannot in confidence say that staff are competent. The following is not an exhaustive list of courses, for courses not listed, or for further information, please call on , we thank you for your interest and hope to be of service to you.
