2 ABOUT GMN Gestión Medioambiental de Neumáticos (GMN) bases its business on the integral management of end-of-life tyres, separating their components and recycling the rubber to be reused. The company, which was founded in 20, is a pioneer in obtaining recycling solutions in its sector due to its stance on rubber processing technology. 3 THE PROCESS GMN subjects tyres to a process of material reuse. The company is one of the few in Spain that integrates all the activities related to the management of end-of-life tyres; from their collection through to the sale of the recycled product. COLLECTION A service that covers the collection, logistics and transport of tyres from workshops and large production centres RECEPTION 02 Reception and classification based on their type and condition. RECOVERY 03 Recovery of the tyres in better condition to be sold second-hand or to be retreaded. CRUSHING 04 Crushing the rest of the tyres into sizes of less than 150 mm GRANULATION 05 Granulating the crushed tyres to obtain rubber chippings of diverse kinds and gradings.

4 ENVIRONMENT/ RESEARCH 02 GMN contributes towards sustainable development by means of an industrial practice that fully respects the environment, by recycling 100% of tyres. The company, which has a patented process, has its own rubber processing technology.in a parallel way, it actively collaborates with diverse educational and research institutions, such as universities, the Centre for Industrial Technical Development (CDTI) and the Ministry of the Environment, in search of continuous improvement in products and processes. Its attitude towards research and development means that it can constantly adapt to the market needs and the quality demands of its clients. 5 PRODUCTS AND APPLICATIONS GMN commits itself to discovering and creating new markets and products for recycled rubber in various sectors GMN markets recyclable materials, among others, in three large consolidated markets: - Synthetic turf football fields - Safety tiles and pavement - Bitumen Other sectors of interest are automation and building acoustics, vibration insulation and plastic mixtures. 6 QUALITY GMN is a member of SIGNUS, a non-profit institution that regulates the collection and management of 80% of the used tyres in Spain and which watches over good practices in the sector. The Catalan Waste Agency of the Generalitat of Catalonia recently awarded GMN the Design Prize for Recycling, in the category of materials for the rubber dust of end-of-life tyres. The company s plant in Maials (Lleida) has environmental authorisations to process 45,000 tonnes of tyres and to store up to 20,600 tonnes GMN has a business line of sale of second-hand tyres and tyres to be retreaded 02 GMN also utilizes rubber waste from the auxiliary automobile sector 03 GMN obtains top quality steel derived from used tyres for melting
