10 4. EMPTY CONTAINER MANAGEMENT EMPTY NOMINATIONS Reason: To avoid delays in delivering container to customers. This to ensure that no digging and scattered delivery point at the yard. a. Empty Container for Export (ex-laden/storage) b. Empty Container for local use (import & ex-laden) Requirement: a. Shipping Agent request for empty container base on: Quantity Equipment Type/Size Port of Discharge (for export)

11 5. New Container Shipping & Delivery Note Remark: 1. The new Container Shipping & Delivery Note (CSDN) will be available on 1 st September 2014 (Monday). 2. The current CSN & CDO can be returned and replace with the new CSDN

BAT Number BAT Number serve as a unique truck identifier (the number on the top/side/ front of the truck) to ease the Equipment Operators to identify the correct truck for receive and delivery activities. Standard practice in Peninsular Malaysia All Trucking Companies is required to ensure that all trucks must have BAT Number by 1 st January Maximum character is 6 digits. Minimum font Size for the BAT No. is not less than A3 paper size. Must be visible and maintained Eg. 1. Harbour Link : BAT No. HL Air Marine : BAT No. AM1234

18 9. GATE MOVEMENT Gate In/ Gate Out - Container door position must be facing backward of the prime mover / trailer (single 20 or 40 )

19 10. CONTAINER OPERATION SHUTDOWN Container Operation Shut Down is scheduled from 15 th August 2014, 0700 hours until 16 th August 2014, 0700 hours. Data migration from the current system to SPARCS N4 Inventory update in SPARCS N4 There will be no container operation (gate/yard/vessel) during the shut down period.

22 11. OTHERS Container Operations Area / Office is strictly for authorized personnel only. We require for a proper appointment for any related business with CTD Officers. Port users are strictly not allowed to be in the operations area except for the authorized Shipping Agents for the particular vessel in operation.

23 OTHERS Port users are requested to adhere to the Container Operation s traffic flow Bintulu Port will later issue Port Notice on the new requirements for the container operation. DG Sticker for MT Container must be REMOVED before entering the gate.
