3 Introduction The following document replaces the published VW guidelines VDA 4939 as Pick-up-Sheet and Transport- and shipment bill VDA Existing regulations remain in place. New regulations include OT-special handlings and the not anymore required PDF417- barcodes document in the AMES-T-process. Furthermore, the descriptions were complimented and little mistakes were corrected. The version number is based on the guideline VDA 4939 as Pick-up-Sheet and is being published with Version 08. The current TSB- Guide Version 01 is no longer valid. The new guideline only describes technical and content requirements for the documents. Organisational regulations, which go beyond technical requirements, are regulated in the corresponding delivery regulations of the brands and plants. They can be found and downloaded in the restricted area of the VOLKSWAGEN business plattform. 4 It is not necessarily applicable to: Auxiliary material which is not in stock. E. g. deliveries from the catalogue ordering system Prototypes (Vorseriencenter) In these cases a cooperation with the recepient might be necessary. The guideline describes the detailed requirements of VOLKSWAGEN based on the process of used EDI-messages. All regulations of the VDA-recommendation 4939 are valid, with the exception of the Pick-up-Sheets. The guideline is therefore an addition to the VDArecommendation. Changes between Pick-up-Sheet and original VDA 4939 are slightly described in the guideline. Thus the layout of the Pick-up-Sheet can be used for all other delivery processes. NLK-specific data fields, e. g. VAB number, remain blank. 1 General definitions VOLKWAGEN is being used in this document for the Volkswagen Group. 29 2.2.5 C1a Packing piece data C1a1 Loading units (packages) Packing ID Packaging type Number Total of loading units The packaging data (only the main packaging containers) for loading units (external packaging) are to be printed on the shipment cover page. Auxiliary packaging containers are not to be taken into account. Delivery units in the configuration are not shown in the loading units. In the field C1a1 the outer packaging is summarized and displayed without taking into account the packed items or inner packaging. The packing piece IDs used in the EDI data are to be entered. The following packing piece IDs are possible: Simplified loading unit: Homogeneous configuration: Mixed configuration: S (or 1J), M (or 6J), G (or 5J). Relevant designation from the LISON packaging data sheets. In the pick-up (NLK) process no packaging data are transmitted per EDI in the call-offs. 43 3 Populating Data in the Barcode 128 (Footer) 3.1 Transport master sheet Populating the data in the barcode footer should be completed in accordance with the VDA4939 recommendations. SC = supplier number is to be used as organisation code. The complete supplier number is to be specified including index from the call-off data (VDA4905: SA 512, Pos. 4, DELFOR/DELJIT: SG 2 NAD+SU C ). Supplier numbers can have different field sizes. Therefore a plus sign "+" must be set as separator at the end of supplier number. The VDA4939 barcode is to be stated additionally in the transport master sheet within the footer.the following structure of the data string is expected here: 1.
