2 TQM Introduction Tool Shop to 2012 from 2013 Informationen about the Company TQM is specialized in the efficient development and production of large, high-quality series tools for sheet metal forming, mainly for the production of dimensionally high quality series parts. As former Laepple toolshop", we have benefited from tool competence since highly qualified and well-trained employees ensure quality at a high level. Our project managers accompany tool projects from the engineering phase till delivery and, if necessary, home line tryout in the customer press. Manufacturing information Types of Dies: Line-Dies, Transfer-Dies, Progressive-Dies, Draw-, Flange-, Form- and Trim-Dies. Of cource, you will also receive from us the Gauge for measurement. Projects: Support, assembly till function-stroke, spotting, modification, optimization. Projects from Engineering till Note 1. The engineering activities are procured externally and are 100% managed by TQM. Formable Materials: Conventional Steel- and Draw-Quality, high strength Steel, Tailored Blanks, Precoated Steel, Aluminum alloyed Steel for Structure- und Outer-panels. 6 Tryout Upon customer request, the tools are grinded with the stone after HSC machining and the sheet thickness is spotted into a constantly bearing picture in our tryout presses. Due to the decades-long specialization in the high requirements for outer skin parts, the tools are exclusively matched by employees. Thanks to decades of specialization in the demanding requirements for exterior body parts, the tools are being prepared by experienced employees for the subsequent component optimization projects. 7 Presses The presses of TQM are mainly used for tryout and optimization of the drawing, trimming and forming tools. In addition, a Pre-series and small batch production in these presses is possible. 9 Home-Line-Tryout Home-line-tryout in the customers Press shop worldwide The home-line tryout is always carried out with TQM-EU specialists and possibly in cooperation with TQM Matching Modifications according to the customer s specification are carried out during the course of commissioning Optimization of tools up to production stage Ensuring the process Final acceptance of the tools and press parts by the customer together with the responsible persons of Communication in the language of the customer (german, english ) Accompanying the start of productions

10 Collaborative Projects Main task Projects of TQM-Group (Collaborative Projects): Project management is done by TQM-EU Manufacturing of the tools is carried out primarily at TQM-China in consultation with our customer. TQM-EU specialists are responsible for the production of tools in China Quality Loops takes place in China or in Germany, but in principle with specialists. Project processes are coordinated with the customer Optimal use of cost advantages by TQM-China and the know-how of TQM-EU

13 Current information With the purchase of premises, halls and buildings completed at the end of 2017, TQM will produce more effectively in the short term, since the new floor plan means that the production process is optimally structured. Investments are already planned as follows: Additional large hydraulic presses for tryout and optimization support. Additional state-of-the-art milling machines for 5-axis machining
