5 How it Works Steps: 1. Count inventory 2. Scan items and enter counts on handheld 3. Upload counts to server then audit to make sure they look accurate. 4. Process batch and modify inventory. 5. Audit inventory to ensure corrections are accurate. *Best Practice Tip* - If you have never used Tallyman, try a test cycle count batch or in training mode first to get a feel for how the process works before running your first complete Physical Count. 5

7 How it Works cont Start scanning items to add into the batch with a count All counts are cumulative. Record is stored of individual entries. Entries are stored in a local database until uploaded to SQL Server Same batch exists in SysManager but only items uploaded will show in this batch. *Best Practice* - Upload items regularly in case of network or hardware problem. Suggested, upload after every 50 items. 7
