1 Even though numbers for the event are fluid, they will be high and some members especially on the front may find it beneficial to sell refreshments and fast food from the forntages of their properties. this would of course need a temporary evcent license from regulatory affairs at if the current license does not extend to the boundary. Traffic volume will cause severe congestion in and around the town and all feeder roads. Suggest appoint Traffic Planners to plan park and ride schemes to reduce the traffic flow near the town by using Coaches to ferry visitors to identify suitable additional coach parking facilities for the day LHA/ Park & Ride venues have been appointed and Arriva Buses have became Transport Partners. Waste land at the side of Llandudno Railway Station CCBc to consider temporary 'one way' routes on main arterial roads to ensure smooth flow of traffic with reversal when volumes are high. Traffic routes are being worked out and will be publicised shortly
2 Rail transport could be utilised to move large volumes of people from feeder locations such as Abergele or Arriva Trains will provide Llanfairfechan. /Arriva extra capacity Conwy Valley line train could form a shuttle between Junction and Llandudno to alleviate road pressure but would need to liaise with Arriva Wales to consider temporary 'one way' routes on main arterial roads to ensure smooth flow of traffic with reversal when volumes are high. /Arriva Arriva Trains will provide extra capacity CCBc to consider where temporary parking provision could be generated in Mochdre and Llandudno for the duration of the event /Mostyn Est. are in talks with Mostyn Estates regarding having 24hr secure access to the Victoria Centre car park The service roads at the rear of all shops and Hotels must be kept clear with a temporary one way system in operation to ensure free flow of servicing vehicles from Hydro hotel to St Georges Place. Traffic routes are being worked out and will be publicised shortly along with advice for suppliers. Members should inform their suppliers about the event and update them when road restrictions are known
3 Rubbish Collections will be difficult to manage using existing processes as vehicle movements will be restricted. to arrange for Street bin teams to utilise handcarts during the day with designated collection points for bagged rubbish away from main event.
