Analytics Manager Help 8 Settings The Settings page lets you define thresholds at which you want scores to be color-coded so you can target improvement efforts. Only users with administrative permissions can navigate to the Settings page. State Miles Variance Report Filter The State Miles Variance reports show any differences between the mileage reported through the State Miles application and the mileage reported through the odometer. The State Miles Variance Report Filter allows you to specify that the variance reports should ignore small, insignificant variances. Specify the minimum positive difference you want reported in the Report variance greater than or equal to field, and the minimum negative difference in the Report variance less than or equal to field. Driver Performance Panels The driver performance panels are separated into categories according to how the metrics are displayed in the Performance Monitoring application. Each panel behaves in similar fashion, described below. You set thresholds for the Group, Fleet, and Industry, and indicate the percents of difference at which you want the field to be shaded yellow and red. These threshold values must be negative numbers. You set these thresholds for each category, for the entity's overall score, and for location performance. Industry thresholds are used in the Executive Dashboard and in other pages if you have the Deluxe version of Analytics Manager. For example, you decide to set hard braking events at: GROUP FLEET INDUSTRY Yellow Red Yellow Red Yellow Red -10% -20% -10% -20% -10% -20% In a 3 month period, the averages for each of the following calculates to: Group = 10 events/member of the group Fleet = 15 events/member of the fleet Industry = 20 events/entity If your driver has 17 hard braking events in the same time period: A group comparison will be shaded red (20% of 10 = 2 and the driver has 7 events more than the group average) A fleet comparison will be shaded yellow (10% of 15 = 1.5 and the driver has 2 events more than the fleet average) An industry comparison will not be shaded After changing the settings in a panel, click Update to save your changes. It takes a few minutes for the changes to be applied throughout the software. To see a log of changes made to the thresholds, click the Category Thresholds Audit Log below the table. Back one page Weighting and Scoring You also provide weights to each metric to specify relative importance for calculating the scores. In all cases, a positive score indicates the entity is performing well, and a negative score indicates a potential performance problem. The values you set for weights for any category (Safety, Fuel, etc.) must equal 100% when added together. For example, to weight hard-braking more heavily than the other three safety events, you might set these values to: Hard braking Lane departures Roll stability Manual NOTE: Set the weight to 0 for any metrics your company does not track. For example, if you don't have lane departure sensors, set the weight for lane departures to 0 to eliminate the metric from the calculated safety score.

Analytics Manager Help 9 Calculation: To calculate a score, the system multiplies the percent difference from the fleet by the weight for each metric and adds them. For example, given the weights set above and the % differences listed below: Event Hard braking Lane departures Roll stability Manual Weight % difference from fleet Score 40 X 48% = X 0% = 0 20 X 70% = X 92% = 18.4 Safety Score: 51.6 Back one page Excessive Stoppage Time Buffer Percent Stoppage is calculated for any landmark as the average length of time between arrival and departure position reports for all vehicles that have stopped there. Excessive stoppage refers to any individual stop in which the duration between arrival and departure positions is greater than the average stoppage. The excessive stoppage buffer is a percentage over the average you want to allow before considering a stoppage to be excessive. For example, if the buffer is set to 30%: If average stoppage time is Excessive stoppage time must exceed 120 minutes (2H) 156 minutes (2H, 36m) 210 minutes (3.5H) 273 minutes (4H, 33m) Changes to the stoppage buffer percent threshold take effect after the data is refreshed (tomorrow). Back one page Source of metrics The metrics listed for each category come from: Safety: Critical Event Reporting Fuel: Performance Monitoring Compliance: Hours of Service Efficiency and Location: Advanced Workflow and/or GeoServices.

Analytics Manager Help 10 Trip Planning (Deluxe) Trip planning lets you select the customer locations for a trip and calculate the total stoppage time. Locations are set up in GeoServices. To select locations 1. Click to open a pop-up window and select the locations to include. 2. Press Shift+click to select all landmarks between the first and last landmark you click, or press Ctrl+click to select individual landmarks. 3. Click Ok. 4. Click Go. The system calculates and displays the average stoppage time for each selected landmark, and displays the total stoppage time. The average is calculated from all stoppage times recorded to date for this landmark. This average is refined as data accumulates over time. See also: Location metrics and calculation

Analytics Manager Help 11 Refreshing Data All data that appears in Analytics Manager comes from other Omnitracs applications that you use or subscribe to: Safety data comes from Critical Event Reporting (CER) Compliance data comes from Hours of Service (HOS) Fuel data comes from Performance Monitoring Location data comes from QTRACS software and GeoServices Data, such as a safety event or HOS violation, is not pulled into Analytics Manager as it occurs. Once a day, a process retrieves all of the data for the last 24 hours from the various service, then loads it into the Analytics Manager data warehouse. These tasks occur at specified times each day (all times below are Pacific time): 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Data retrieval takes place. All of the data presented in Analytics Manager at any given time is as of 8:00 PM Pacific time last night. 11:00 PM - 1:00 AM: Data loading takes place. It is recommended that you wait until this refresh window is complete before looking at data in Analytics Manager. See also: Analytics Manager help topics Using Analytics Manager

Analytics Manager 12 Omitting Bad Extract Data Occasionally an extract contains incorrect or incomplete data caused by: Old firmware that does not capture all data or that has defects fixed in a later release Miswired sensors or a malfunction in the ECM To improve the accuracy of data presented on Fuel Manager screens, data that can be identified as incorrect or incomplete is automatically omitted. It is not removed from the database and can still be included in Performance Monitoring reports. Examples of incorrect data that is omitted includes (this is not a complete list): Fuel efficiency: Idle or PTO fuel consumed is higher than total fuel Idling: Engine time is a negative number or zero, or less than PTO or idle time Speeding: Moving time is a negative number or zero RPM: Engine, over RPM, or over speed time is a negative number or zero Help Home Page Close

Analytics Manager 13 Glossary Term Average stoppage time Definition The average length of time for all vehicles that stopped at a customer (landmark type) location. This number is refined over time as more stops are recorded for a location. See Stoppage time. For example, today the system "knows" about 2 times that vehicles stopped at a location. One stop was for 1 hour and the other was for 2 hours. Today, the average stoppage time for that location is 1.5 hours. After two months, 100 vehicles have stopped at that location. All of the stoppage times will be added together and divided by 100, resulting in a better average. Compliance Refers to Hours of Service (HOS) ruleset compliance based on conpliance events received from HOS software. (category) Cruise % Percentage of driving time spent with cruise control engaged. Driving time is defined as time during which the vehicle was in motion. Cumulative The total number of violations during the 7/8 day duty cycle. violations Cumulative Then number of minutes spent in violation of the 7/8 day duty cycle. violation minutes Customer location (landmark) In GeoServices, a landmark assigned the landmark type of "Customer." "All customer locations" includes those landmarks at which at least one arrival/departure event occurred during the specified time range. Date range All times displayed in date ranges are Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Times listed in the date ranges default to midnight. If you /times change the time to filter, use these conversions to your local time: Daylight Midnight GMT in Time zone Standard savings standard time is: Eastern GMT- 5 GMT- 4 7:00 PM Central GMT- 6 GMT- 5 6:00 PM Mountain GMT- 7 GMT- 6 5:00 PM Pacific GMT- 8 GMT- 7 4:00 PM Alaska GMT- 9 GMT- 8 3:00 PM Driving time Driving violations Efficiency (category) Entity The time during which the vehicle was in motion. The number of times an entity exceeded the allowed driving time based on their current Hours of Service ruleset. Back to previous page Refers to delivery efficiency based on landmark and position information from QTRACS software and GeoServices. This information is used to calculate average stoppage time and to derive the metrics on the efficiency reports. See Stoppage time below. A vehicle, driver, or group for which information is stored and reported. Exclusion Landmarks in GeoServices can be set as exclusion zones, which are areas the driver is expected to stay away from. Examples are zone military bases and areas threatened by storms, such as a hurricane. An exclusion zone violation occurs when an entity's location is violations inside the landmark boundary. Landmarks assigned the landmark type "Other/Misc" with the Exclusion zone button checked are not included in exclusion zone violation counts. Extract Fleet Driver/vehicle performance information collected on the mobile unit for a specified period of time (typically 7 days) and downloaded as a single summary. The data in an extract cannot be separated into details for each day in the extract duration. The number of vehicles or drivers that constitutes your fleet includes all entities that have at least one event recorded during the specified date range across all of the services that your company subscribes to. For example, if you use CER and HOS, your fleet will include all vehicles or drivers that have at least one CER and/or HOS event during the date range you select. Vehicles or drivers that did not trigger a CER event or log any HOS information will not be included in the total fleet number. If your company only uses CER, and not HOS or Performance Monitoring, your fleet number is not accurate. CER events are exception events, not daily events like HOS logs.

Fleet average Analytics Manager 14 # of events or metric (e.g., % over speed) # of entities (see Fleet above) Fuel (category) Group types (mandatory and optional) Back to previous page Refers to driver performance metrics that affect fuel efficiency ratings based on information from Performance Monitoring. See also Extract. The only mandatory groups that contain the entire fleet are Coverage and Division. Mandatory groups based on other services, such as HOS, contain all of the vehicles enabled for the service. A customer may not enable every vehicle for every service. Filtering by (All Choices) for an optional group type may not contain all of the entities. For example, your company may have 100 vehicles that send Performance Monitoring data. Only 82 of those vehicles have been assigned to a vehicle AdHoc group. Filtering by Vehicle, Perf Mon AdHoc, (all choices) will only include those 82 vehicles. In addition, you may have assigned an entity to more than one group of the same type. For example, you may assign a driver to three HOS Driver groups. If you run a query by group type and do not select a group, the entity's data is reported once for each group membership (in this example, the driver's data will be counted three times). Also, Summary pie charts in the Summary tabs include all entities (vehicles or drivers) in the fleet. The Ranking charts below the pie charts include only entities in the selected group. Hard braking event (CER) Industry Occurs when the vehicle is traveling at more than 20 MPH and its speed decreases by at least 9 MPH per second for three consecutive calculations, each made 0.2 seconds apart. See Safety Metrics. Refers to the aggregated data of all Omnitracs customers using the applicable services. Back to previous page Lane Sensors on the truck indicate a lane departure that was not signaled by the driver. departure event (CER) Log edits Manual event (CER) Miles driven Number of entries in a driver's log that were edited. When a log entry is split into two or more entries, each is counted. For example, if an off-duty entry is split into off-duty and on-duty not driving entries, two log edits are counted. The driver initiates a manual trigger if an accident occurs. Miles driven is received for MCP units that use the mobile Hours of Service (HOS)application. MCT (OmniTRACS) units and some MCP units use the macro version of HOS. For the macro version, the miles driven value is not available in the system directly. When this occurs, Analytics Manager computes miles driven by determining the difference between odometer readings, if available, for a duty segment. Occasionally the odometer value is incorrect, for example, the odometer value gets reset to 0. This occurrence can cause miles driven to become a negative value for the HOS duty segment. In this case, Analytics Manager resets the negative value to 0 so that fleet and industry metrics are not impacted. MPG Off duty driving violations Off duty driving violation minutes On duty violations On duty Distance in miles per U.S. gallon of fuel. The number of times an entity exceeded the company's HOS threshold for number of minutes allowed for off duty driving. Off duty driving refers to time spent returning a vehicle to its parking area after the end of a shift or trip, such as the driver going to a rest area for the night. The number of minutes spent in off duty driving violation status. The number of times the entity exceeded the allowed on duty time according to the applicable HOS ruleset. The number of minutes the entity spent in violation of the allowed on duty driving time.

violation minutes Analytics Manager 15 Back to previous page Over rev % Percentage of time the vehicle s RPM is equal to or greater than the specified over RPM threshold set in Performance Monitoring software, and the throttle position is unavailable (JBus) or is greater than 5%. Derived by: OVERREV TIME / ENGINE TIME Over speed Percentage of time the speed exceeded the maximum threshold set in Performance Monitoring sofware, and the throttle position is % unavailable (JBus) or is greater than 5%. Derived by: OVERSPEED TIME / MOVING TIME. Roll Triggered by anti-rollover sensors on the truck. stability event (CER) Safety (category) Score Refers to critical events based on those received from Critical Event Reporting (CER) software, including hard braking, lane departures, roll stability, and manually-triggered events. Your fleet must have the sensors installed to detect these events for them to appear. Each analytics category (safety, compliance, fuel, efficiency) assigns an entity (vehicle, driver, group, fleet) a score that is calculated as a percent of difference from the average for the fleet (vehicle, driver, and group comparison) or industry (for fleet comparison). Click a link to see the calculation for that category: Safety Compliance Fuel Efficiency If you notice very high scores (either positive or negative, e.g. -12,645%), adjust the date range to include a broader time period. You can set weights for the metrics in each category to assign the relative importance of each metric. For more information, see Weight and scoring. Stoppage time / stops Back to previous page Time spent between the recording of an arrival at a customer site and the departure from the site. Stoppage time is derived from vehicle positions and arrival and departure timestamps from GeoServices. See Average stoppage time. Top Gear % Percentage of driving time spent in top gear. Driving time is defined as time during which the vehicle was in motion. How % Top Gear is determined depends on the vehicle. For some vehicles, the data bus reports the top gear available on the transmission and the current gear. In this case, Performance Monitoring can calculate % Top Gear from the reported data. Other vehicle busses report the current gear but not the top gear. In this case, Performance Monitoring estimates the top gear by monitoring the current gear when the vehicle's speed is over 50 mph. For vehicles with busses that report neither data points, Performance Monitoring estimates the current gear by monitoring vehicle speed and engine RPM. Total idle % Percentage of total time that the engine was running but the vehicle speed was zero. Derived by: ENGINE TIME - MOVING TIME / ENGINE TIME Violation minutes Weight The number of minutes the entity spent driving in violation of the allowed driving time. Weights are used to assign relative importance to the metrics in a category. For example, in Safety there are four events: hard braking, lane departure, roll stability, and manual (triggered by the driver). You may be most concerned about hard braking events, and set the weighting like this: Hard braking: 40% Lane departure: 20% Roll stability: 20% Manual: 20% The total must equal 100%. Weights are assigned in the Executive Dashboard Settings screen. Only administrative users can set weights. Back to previous page

You can use the information to see the fatigue trend for your fleet over the industry trend.

Analytics Manager Help 21 Safety Metrics and Calculations Safety metrics are calculated based on Critical Event Reporting (CER) events. Hard braking and manual events are available to all companies using CER. Lane departure and roll stability events are available if your company has connected the sensors that detect these events. A "0" If your in the company entity column does not for use the these lane sensors, departure set and their roll weight stability to "0" events in Settings indicates to remove one of the them following: from the safety score calculation. If the group or fleet has a number >0 The entity had no events The sensor is not connected or not working on the specified vehicle If the group or fleet = 0, your fleet does not use these sensors The availability of these sensors on any specific vehicle is not tracked in Analytics Manager or CER software. CER Group is the only group type that originates in CER software. CER Groups are optional, and your company may not have assigned all vehicles to one. Therefore, if you are viewing data for all CER Groups, the results may not contain all vehicles in your fleet. Jump to: Safety events Average counts Percent difference Safety score Back one page Safety events Hard braking events A hard braking event occurs when the vehicle is traveling at more than 20 MPH and its speed decreases by at least 9 MPH per second for three consecutive calculations, each made 0.2 seconds apart. Lane departure events Lane departure events are recorded when sensors on the truck indicate a lane departure that was not signalled by the driver. Requires special sensor. Roll stability events Roll stability events are triggered by anti-rollover sensors on the truck. Requires special sensor. Manual events The driver initiates a manual event if an accident occurs. Overspeed count Overspeed events occur when the vehicle travels faster than the overspeed threshold determined by the administrative user. Excessive Overspeed count Excessive Overspeed events occur when the vehicle travels faster than the excessive overspeed threshold determined by the administrative user. Back one page Top Average count (number of events) An average for a safety event is calculated as: Number of events For example: Group's events = 5 and vehicles in group = 20 # entities 5 Group's event count

Analytics Manager Help 22 Divided by 20 Group vehicle count =.25 Avg events per entity Back one page Top Percent (%) difference from fleet or group The percent of difference is calculated as: 100 * ((fleet/group avg count - driver count) / fleet/group average count) For example: Driver count = 2 and fleet average = = 1.85 / = 3.85 =.48 * % Fleet average minus driver count Divided by the fleet average Multiplied by 100 Back one page Top Safety Score The safety score is derived by taking the percent the entity differs from the fleet average for each event, multiplied by the weights assigned to each safety event, and adding them together. The answer is then rounded to the nearest whole number. For example, given weights and percents of difference as shown below: Event Hard braking Lane departures Roll stability Manual Weight % difference from fleet 40 X 48% = 20 X 0% = 20 X 70% = 20 X 92% = Safety Score: Rounded: Score If you're looking at a fleet score, the number uses the percent difference from the industry. In a line chart that displays the fleet score and the group score, if the group score is a positive number, the group is performing better than the fleet regardless of whether the fleet scores are higher or lower than the group scores. Back one page Top

Analytics Manager Help 23 Compliance Summary Compliance information is based on data received from Hours of Service (HOS). The displayed entity, group type, and group appear at the top. In any panel, click Download below the chart or table to export it. Several formats are available; select Download Data to see the associated data in a.csv file. Select another format to export the chart. Trends (Deluxe version only) This panel shows you compliance trends by displaying the compliance score for the selected group over the selected date range. Use this information to see how the group's compliance performance changes over time. You can select a different Date Range click the View drop-down list to select the compliance score or select one of the HOS events to chart. The industry average comparison also appears for the events count views. Hover your cursor over a point to see the average score or average events per entity for that date. Group compliance scores are based on the percent of difference from the fleet averages, and fleet compliance scores are based on the percent of difference from the industry averages. If your filter includes all choices for group type and group, or a group that equals the fleet, your group compliance score is 0 (flat). In this case, you are comparing your fleet to your fleet so there is no variance. Breakouts by Compliance event Here you view the breakdown of numbers of each event type over the selected date range for the group. Use the information to assess which types of compliance events are of greatest concern. Hover your cursor over a point on the graph to see the number for that point in time. Summary and Ranking This panel shows you a summary by event type for the selected group and ranks the entities from best compliance score or fewest events to worst compliance score or most events. You can change the date range to view events over the desired period. Use the information in the summary chart to target the most common events for improvement. Ranking View the ranking of entities by type of event and compliance score.you can: Click the entity text to view: Basic: the percents of difference from the entity to the group and fleet Deluxe: its driver scorecard Sort by any column header, for example, click # Driving events twice to sort in descending order and see the entity with the most driving events at the top of the first page. Scroll through the list a page at a time or click to show all pages/entities. Click to redisplay the first page. When you are filtering by vehicle and including all group types and groups, the ranking list may have an entity named "UNKNOWN." The data associated with the UNKNOWN entity includes all compliance data not associated with a vehicle ID.

Analytics Manager Help 24 Driver Scorecard: Compliance This panel shows the driver's Hours of Service (HOS) violation and event counts and time spent for the specified date range. You can select a different U.S. ruleset from the drop-down list to see statistics based on HOS rules for certain states. The driver's count and time is compared to the the group and fleet average counts and times, and the percent of difference is listed. HOS log information is being accumulated all of the time. If edits are needed, they are typically completed within 24 hours. Therefore, data in this panel is refreshed every 24 hours and you can use it to analyze driver compliance over time. For current or real time info about driver availability or violations, go to HOS software. Fields shaded yellow or red are areas where the driver's number of events is greater than the thresholds you set for the fleet, and represent opportunities for coaching. Unshaded fields are within performance targets. If there is no driver, or group data for a metric, that row does not appear in the scorecard. Use the table to compare this entity to its group and the fleet's compliance statistics. Note the corresponding miles driven by the entity, group, and fleet over the specified date range; this information appears to the upper right. You can: Select a different ruleset and click Go. Print or download the information summed into the table. See also: Compliance metrics and calculation

Analytics Manager Help 25 Fleet Scorecard: Compliance This panel shows the fleet's average Hours of Service (HOS) event counts for the specified date range compared to the industry average. HOS driver log information is being accumulated all of the time. If edits are needed, they are typically completed within 24 hours. Therefore, data in this panel is refreshed every 24 hours and you can use it to analyze fleet compliance over time. For current or real time information about driver availability or events, go to HOS software. You can:. View the information in a bar chart for average number of events (counts), for event counts over time, or in an overview table. The table includes the percent of difference between your fleet and the industry average. Fields shaded yellow or red are areas where the fleet's number of events is greater than the thresholds you set for the industry, and represent opportunities for coaching. Unshaded fields are within performance targets. To export the chart or table, click the Download link below it. Several formats are available; select Download Data to see the associated data in a.csv file. Select another format to export the chart. To open the Compliance Summary tab and view more detailed information, click To navigate to the group level click here. Ranking by group type This panel is a list of the included groups in ranked order based on the compliance score. If you are including (All Choices) in the group type drop-down list at the top of the page, every group is in the list. You can: Select a specific group type, such as HOS Group, to list just the groups in that group type for comparison. Rank by one of the events. Click in the column header once to sort in ascending order (best at the top) and again to sort in descending order (worst at the top). and in the column header show you the sort and direction. Click the group name to open the Compliance Summary and view more details about the group. See also: Compliance metrics and calculation

Analytics Manager Help 26 Compliance Metrics and Calculation Compliance metrics are calculated based on Hours of Service (HOS) events and violations. Information is summarized under one of the domestic rulesets: U.S., U.S.-CA, U.S.-FL, or U.S.-TX. If the entity used a Canadian ruleset during the specified date range, those records are summarized under his/her default U.S. ruleset. In the Compliance Summary, the entity ranking is based on the driver's default ruleset. When you click the entity ID to display the entity's Driver Scorecard, you may need to select the entity's default ruleset from the drop-down list to see the same score. Both driver and vehicle entity types have associated HOS Group and Depot group types that originate in HOS software. All vehicles and drivers that appear in HOS must be assigned to a depot. All drivers must be assigned to an HOS Group, but vehicles may or may not be assigned to an HOS Group. Therefore, if you are viewing data by vehicle for all HOS Groups, the results may not contain all vehicles in your fleet. It is recommended that you select the Driver entity type to view compliance information. A driver ID is always associated with an HOS event, but there may be no associated vehicle ID. Jump to: Safety events Average counts Percent difference Safety score Back one page HOS violations and events Driving violations / minutes The number of times and the total number of minutes during which an entity exceeded the allowed driving time based on the HOS ruleset. On duty violations / minutes The number of times and the total number of minutes during which an entity exceeded the allowed on duty time based on the HOS ruleset. Cumulative violations / minutes The number of times and the total number of minutes during which an entity exceeded the 7/8 day duty cycle based on the HOS ruleset. Log edits Number of entries in a driver's log that were edited. When a log entry is split into two or more entries, each is counted. For example, if an off-duty entry is split into off-duty and on-duty not driving entries, two log edits are counted. In HOS software, multiple edits to the same log are reported as a single log edit. For example, in one log the status is changed from onduty not driving to sleeper berth, then changed to off duty. In Analytics Manager, every edit is counted, so, in the previous example, 2 edits are counted. This results in a difference in log edit counts between HOS and Analytics Manager. Off duty driving events / minutes The number of times and the total number of minutes during which an entity exceeded the company's HOS threshold for number of minutes allowed for off duty driving. Off duty driving refers to time spent returning a vehicle to its parking area after the end of a shift or trip, such as the driver going home. Not all companies allow off duty driving, and some companies who allow it do not set a limit on the number of minutes. If these columns contain zeros, your company does not monitor off duty driving events. Rest break rule violation / minutes The number of times and the total number of minutes during which an entity was in violation of the HOS rest break rule. Passenger rule violation / minutes The number of times and the total number of minutes during which an entity was in violation of the HOS rest break rule. Back one page Top

Analytics Manager 27 Average number of violations An average for an HOS violation is calculated as: Number of violations For example: Group's violations = 5 and vehicles in group = 20 # entities 5 Group's violation count Divided by 20 Group vehicle count =.25 Avg violations per entity Back one page Top Percent (%) difference from fleet The percent of difference for counts is calculated as: 100 * ((fleet/group avg count - driver count) / fleet/group average count) For example: Driver count = 2 and fleet average = = 1.85 / = 3.85 =.48 * % Fleet average minus driver count Divided by the fleet average Multiplied by 100 The percent of difference for time is calculated as: 100 * (fleet/group avg time - driver time) / fleet/group average time For example: Driver time = 18 and fleet average = = 4 / 22 =.18 * 100 = % Fleet average minus driver count Divided by the fleet average Multiplied by 100 Back one page Top Compliance Score The Compliance score is derived by taking the percent the entity differs from the fleet average for each event, multiplied by the weights assigned to each event count and time, and adding them together. The answer is then rounded to the nearest whole number. For example, given weights and percents of difference as shown below: event Weight % difference from fleet Score # Log edits 0 X 12% = 0 Driving counts 15 X -26% = -3.9 Driving minutes 15 X -20% = -3 On duty counts 15 X -45% = On duty minutes 15 X -57% = Cumulative on duty counts 15 X 8% = 1.2 Cumulative on duty minutes 15 X 25% = 3.75 Off duty driving counts 5 X 20% = 1 Off duty driving minutes 5 X 17% =.85 Compliance Score: Rounded: If you're looking at a fleet score, the number uses the percent difference from the industry. In a line chart that displays the fleet score and the group score, if the group score is a positive number, the group is performing better than the fleet regardless of whether the fleet scores are higher or lower than the group scores. Back one page Top

Analytics Manager Help 28 Fuel Summary Fuel information is based on data in Performance Monitoring extracts. The displayed entity type, group type and group appear at the top. Trends (Deluxe version only) This panel shows you fuel trends by displaying the fuel score or average metric for the selected group over the selected date range. Use this information to see how the group's fuel efficiency performance changes over time. You can select a different Date Range and click the View drop-down list to select the fuel score or select one of the fuel metrics to chart. The industry average comparison also appears for the metric views. Hover your cursor over a point to see the average score or average percent/mpg per entity for that date. Group fuel scores are based on the percent of difference from the fleet averages, and fleet fuel scores are based on the percent of difference from the industry averages. If your filter includes all choices for group type and group, or a group that equals the fleet, your group fuel score is 0 (flat). In this case, you are comparing your fleet to your fleet so there is no variance. Breakout by Fuel Metrics Here you view the breakdown of percentages for each metric over the selected date range for the group. Use the information to assess which driver behavior to target for improvement. Hover your cursor over a point on the graph to see the number for that point in time. Summary and Ranking This panel shows you the percent difference from the fleet average by metric for the selected group.
