And even better, it is not only a tool for the big players. Due to its favourable cost structure and its target-group-specific sales approach it is a suitable instrument for small and medium sized companies. What is worth mentioning is the fact that digital signage solutions always combine two important components, i.e. hardware and software. Yet, while the hardware, i.e. players, shows a very dynamic development, there is a lack on the software side of the market. That is why SmilControl can offer its users outstanding features such as its consequent scalability that is unique on the market. Most of the available software that require server installations can only handle a certain amount of media player. Once this amount has been reached the client needs to buy a second software package that again has to be installed on a second server with separate login and editing, or even worse additional software bridges. All you need is you login and you will comfortably get access to you play list whenever necessary. That allows you to react on time to any changes that requires immediate action. Therefore, SmilControl features external content, e.g. licensed content that cannot be removed from an external server. Moreover, SmilControl makes it very easy to include channels generated by feeds. Like this you could for example insert popular weather forecasts or other news into your play lists and offer added value to your customers. And of course SmilControl offers templates that would help you present your customised content to your clients.
