2 Event Information- o o Purpose: To promote Herbal Essences Argan Oil and Coconut Milk Shampoos and Conditioners. Your role: To engage Shoppers and create excitement around the products. Educate Shoppers about the variety of Herbal Essences products and compliment them on their choices. Engage with the Shopper in conversation around how the Argan Oil and Coconut Milk Shampoos and Conditioners will improve the look, feel, and health of their hair. Provide Shoppers with a handout and a sample and encourage them to purchase today. Greet Shoppers as they pass or approach the event cart with the information in section 6. Greeting Examples: How do you care for your hair? How do you deal with dry and damaged hair? What ingredients are in your shampoo? Tell the Shoppers about the great Herbal Essences Argan Oil and Coconut Milk Shampoos and Conditioners using the information in the "Engaging with Your Customer" Section. Be sure to stand at the side of the cart and engage all Shoppers within 10 feet with the following prompts and conversation starters: Argan Oil Shampoos and Conditioners- Crafted with bio:renew, a signature blend of essential antioxidants, aloe, and sea kelp. Color safe, nurtures, and repairs hair Remember that you are representing the Herbal Essences Brand and the overall experience should be enjoyable. You are expected to actively seek out Shoppers during this demo and engage as many as possible creating a buzz around the cart. Secret Shoppers will be present, so remember to speak to each Shopper and encourage them to come try the great Herbal Essences products. Comes in fizzy citrus, exotic spices, and creamy vanilla. Coconut Milk Shampoos and Conditioners- Crafted with bio:renew, a signature blend of essential antioxidants, aloe, and sea kelp. Color safe and hydrates hair. Comes in vibrant coconut, bouquet of white florals, and vanilla. Sell Herbal Essences Argan Oil and Coconut Milk Shampoos and Conditioners by giving the Shopper a handout and a sample while directing them to the product location.

4 EVENT STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES EVENT DAY QUESTIONS? CALL THE SUPPORT CENTER AT (888) PRE-EVENT 1. Where do I find my event kit? Event kit can be found in the back room in a red box marked for your event. It may be with your cart or near the receiving area. If you cannot find it within minutes of arrival to the store, please call the support center for package tracking information then provide the information to an associate in receiving or store manager for assistance. 2. Where do I sign into my event? Upon arrival, all associates should sign into the Vendor Log Book at the Customer Service Desk at the front of the store. You must also sign out at the end of your event. Note: All stores require you to wear your vendor name badge. Some stores may have additional sign in direction, which may include checking in with a member of management. 3. Where should I set up my event/how do I set up my cart? Set up event near product display as designated in the Station Set-up section of your event manual. You may have limitations on set-up location if you require electrical power for you appliances or if a Store Manager requires you to move your station to a different location. Contact your District Manager or Support Center immediately if you have questions on your event stations set-up location. 4. Should I purchase all the product needed for my sampling event at the beginning of the event? Yes, unless otherwise directed in the event manual. 5. Is it required to check product expiration date? Yes, you should always check the expiration date of the product prior to purchasing. If product is expired, please bring to the attention of store management. 6. What are the discount guidelines for purchasing my product? Do not use coupons provided in kit for purchasing product. 7. Where should I pull product to merchandise on my event cart? You should pull product from the back room inventoried stock as to not deplete product on the shelves. If product is unavailable in the back room, you can pull product from the shelves. DURING THE EVENT 8. How should I keep perishable products cold? Do not display any refrigerated or frozen product (that must remain refrigerated) on event station. Use the mini-fridge inside the event station. 9. How many samples should I distribute during my sampling event? On average you will distribute approximately 300 samples per event; however, refer to your event manual to confirm your sample distribution goal. 10. What should I do with unopened product I used for merchandising on your event station? Unopened product that was merchandised on the event station can be returned to the shelves on the sales floor (if shelf space available) even if it was pulled from the back room inventory. 11. What do I do with all unopened/unprepared non-perishable product for sampling and my leftover kit contents (supplies, handouts, signage, coupons, etc.) after my event has ended? Ask store management if the store will like to retain any unopened/unprepared nonperishable product, leftover handouts, and coupons. If store management does not want to retain, please dispose in the back room of the store. Do not take items home with you. It is unlawful to resell sample product/items used during your event. 12. What standard sanitation and health guidelines do I need to remember when completing my sampling event? Wear gloves, apron, name tag, and hat at ALL times, except on breaks or during set-up/tear down. Event Specialists with long hair must have all hair pulled back and a hat on for all food events. Remember to changes your gloves regularly throughout your event. Comply with proper cleaning techniques. 13. Can I provide samples to minors? No, do not offer samples to minors without permission from their parent or guardian. 14. What do I do if a customer asks about product/recipe ingredients or allergens? Refer them to the ingredient list on the product packaging. This material is considered to be confidential and proprietary information of Advantage Solutions. Unauthorized use, disclosure, or reproduction of this material is prohibited, and may lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
