2 1 GETTING STARTED Step 1: Find your event kit to identify which event you are executing today and what shelf tags you will need for the event Your kit will be located in the back room in a bright pink box marked Discoveries Step 2: Ask to meet with the store s scan coordinator to locate the shelf tags, using the shelf tag ID located on page 1 The shelf tag ID should match the sheet of tags labeled for Discoveries If your tags are unavailable or you cannot locate them, ask the scan coordinator to print shelf tags based on the items you are merchandising on the cart See the Cart Setup Section for merchandising information Step 3: While you are in the front of the store, sign into the store s vendor log 2 ITEMS IN YOUR KIT KIT NAME:KRO Kit G (SI) Verify that all the following items are in the Event Kit: Glade 2 Sided Handout (200) Brand Funded Front of Cart Sign Side of Cart/Pole Sign Event Manual Disposable Gloves (50 ct) White Paper Napkins (250 ct) 3 EQUIPMENT YOU NEED Rubber Spatula Please contact the Support Center at should you need assistance or have questions 2

5 6 PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS Step 1: Demonstrate Electric Warmer CAUTION: The Wax Melts Electric Warmer will contain hot wax DO NOT touch melted wax or allow customers to touch Remove one Clean Linen Glade wax melt from packaging and place in center of a clean and empty warmer bowl NOTE: 1 wax melt cube will last throughout the entire event Warmer will melt wax, releasing fragrance into air CAUTION: The warmer will contain hot wax DO NOT touch melted wax or allow customers to touch CAUTION: Once the wax starts melting, DO NOT move the electric warmer If you move the warmer, wax will spill out of the warmer and damage the cart Open the package of Hawaiian Breeze wax melts so customers can also smell the different fragrance offerings NOTE: You will not be placing any Hawaiian Breeze wax melts into the electric warmer If customers ask how to remove the wax, you can provide them with the following instructions Allow wax to cool completely and harden Pop wax out of warmer dish If needed, use rubber spatula to push wax out of warmer dish Dispose of wax in trash Spray Starter DO NOT insert batteries into the Automatic Spray Starter NOTE: DO NOT insert batteries into the Automatic Spray Starter You can let customers touch and feel the product but you will NOT be demonstrating how it works/sprays Let customers know it is a battery operated unit, you can control how often it sprays and 1 refill lasts 60 days Final Step: Once event is complete and you distribute all samples, all products that were merchandised on the cart shelves needs to be restocked Return all non-purchased items back to the shelves on the sales floor (where items were first found) All left over samples, product purchased for sampling, collateral (including coupons) and event supplies need to be disposed of properly following store disposal procedure Do not take items home with you or give to an employee at the store It is unlawful to resell sample product/items used during your event 7 THINGS TO LOOK FOR TODAY 1 Did you execute the scheduled event? 1 Yes 2 No 2 If you did not execute the event, why? 1 Attempted an educational event but directed by Store Management not to execute 2 No outlet, power outage, or other electrical issue 3 What reason did Store Management give not to execute? 1 Store out of product temporarily and did not want an educational event 2 Store doesn't carry product 3 Store too busy or crowded 4 Other Please contact the Support Center at should you need assistance or have questions 5
