5 Real-World Experience As a Southwest Intern, you are treated like an Employee from the very first day you start. You will be challenged to push yourself and grow not only in your professional life, but your personal life as well. Previous Interns have written for our inflight magazine, assisted with ad campaign photo shoots, and helped design marketing strategies for new gate openings as well as various other activities that have a direct impact on the success of Southwest Airlines. Real-World Experience You will also be able to attend Career Development classes and events during the work day that will help you develop the skills that you need in order to succeed in the professional world.
