2 ONE GIRL : INVESTING IN WOMEN AND GIRLS One Girl is a non-profit organisation that invests in women and girls to create and lead change in their communities. We work in Sierra Leone, West Africa. We re looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated photographer in each state to join our team. Check out the campaign here

4 PHOTOGRAPHER (ALL STATES) We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate professional to join our team and support with our photographic needs. You ll have a creative and innovative brain for creating awesome content that really represents the One Girl brand in the world. You will be part of a creative team that s working to make a difference for girls and women in Sierra Leone, West Africa. You ll join our digital producer and online community manager in enabling the development of our growing corporate portfolio. You ll work in a flexible structure with a flat hierarchy and with motivated colleagues. It s a great opportunity to play a key role. One Girl is a startup organisation, and as such our positions are very fluid you may be asked to complete tasks that are outside of this position description. Ideally this role will suit a person who enjoys pushing the boundaries of what s possible and getting creative. LOCATION This opportunity is based in most major cities Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth. 4 For every year a girl attends school, the risk of her future children dying reduces by 5 10%

5 RESPONSIBILITIES Be available at short notice to take up a photography assignment (e.g. there might be an awesome Do It In A Dress event that we hear about, and you ll be assigned to photograph the gig.) Trouble shoot issues with the available resources. Bring fun and a relaxed attitude to your photography assignments. Follow and uphold quality standards. Analyse and edit raw files with Photoshop and Lightroom. You ll have an innate ability to work in a fast moving, high growth environment Be aware of the not-for-profit sector and social issues. One Girl is a startup environment, so you ll be required to take initiative and make your own decisions (sometimes without guidance). There is no micro-management here. You ARE the leader. 7 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Professionalism and organisational skills You ve got fantastic organisational skills, a high level of professionalism and excellent management skills. Previous industry experience and past photo-shoot experience We require someone who has previous industry experience. Ideally, you will be a recent graduate or have a partially completed higher education course in photography/design. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Be available at short notice to take up a photography assignment (e.g. there might be an awesome Do It In A Dress event that we hear about, and you ll be assigned to photograph the gig.) Bring fun and a relaxed attitude to your photography assignments. Follow and uphold quality standards. Analyse and edit raw files with Photoshop and Lightroom. Work productively with our Digital producer and Online community manager to cover as many events as possible with a fast turn around 7 Invest in a girl, she ll do the rest

8 WHAT S IN IT FOR YOU opportunity to expand on your management experience and creative portfolio with some fun shoots that make a difference opportunity to work directly with the grassroots community who are changing the world, one girl at a time opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people and create new relationships within the non-profit, social enterprise and fundraising industry TIME COMMITMENT Minimum 2-5 hours per week with a potential increase during peak periods.
