SINGLE PIN HERMETIC FEED.THROUGHS Fusite offers a full range of standard single pin feed-throughs. These durable hermetic seals are ideal for limited space conditions with typical applications ranging from power feedthroughs as high as 200 amps continuous, to sensors of 20 amps or less. Both weld-in and threaded style designs are available in various pin materials. 3 Ceramic insulator Body What is a Hermetic Glass-to-Metal Seal? lt is an airtight seal made by bonding of glass to metal, highly resistanto external influences. lt may serve as an electrical feed-through or liquid level indicator, and is well-suited for applications involving high temperatures, high pressures and corrosive chemicals. HIGH.AMPERAGE HERMETIC FEED-THROUGHS Fusite's large bolt-on models are used in commercial air conditioning and other high-amperage applications. Standard as well as custom designs are available, with options including solid or copper core conductor pins, threaded or push-on connections, and rubber or ceramic oversurface. For applications requiring a pressure release mechanism, Fusite's patented pressure vent cover assembly provides consistent and controlled results.
