Wiredup......for your perfect solution Tradition meets today. 150 years of experience The history of Deutsche Nickel GmbH stretches all the way back to In 1878 the founder of our company Theodor Fleitmann made the pioneering discovery that the addition of Magnesium to the production process meant that Nickel could now be hotrolled and forged. Even today, this groundbreaking discovery still forms the basis of manufacturing processes throughout the Nickel processing industry. Nowadays we produce the following innovative and approved Alloys in our integrated factory: Pure Nickel (Ni) High temperature resistant Nickel alloys (NiCrFe) Corrosion resistant Nickel alloys (NiCrMo, NiCu) Controlled expansion alloys (NiFe, FeNi) Resistance alloys (CuNi) Softmagnetic alloys (FeNi) Welding consumables We are able to melt ingots in both our induction and our vacuum furnaces and, if required, with secondary ESR remelting to ensure the very highest material quality. The ingots are then reworked using various hotforming techniques into wirerod. Dependent on application, the wirerod is then pickled or peeled, prior to preparing for subsequent drawing and annealing processes. The finished cold drawn or annealed wire is then packed according to the customer s requirements on spool, in drums or on hats/coil carriers.
