Chalouhi has obtained certification for their integrated management system which includes ISO14001 Environment, ISO9001 Quality, and AS/NZS4801 Work Health & Safety. Licences Chalouhi is a Workcover Licensed Unrestricted Demolition contractor and Asbestos Remover. We carry out all forms of demolition work and treatment of hazardous materials. Chalouhi has dismantled thousands of structures all over Sydney including: residential, commercial and industrial structures as well as schools, power sub stations and Australian heritage buildings. We currently hold all relevant insurances and licences / permits to ensure a safe working environment. Excavator contractor licence #288508C expiry date 21/10/2018. 5 on Environment Asbestos Removal Remediation Chalouhi s committed to following the guidelines of the Acts and Regulations of the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is paramount to achieving an effective outcome for our clients and the environment. Chalouhi strives to leave the site in better health than it was before, which in turn will support the environment for future generations. Chalouhi is fully licensed and qualified to undertake the removal of friable and bonded asbestos. All employees are experienced and qualified in the handling of material containing asbestos. All our work practices are compliant with the requirements of Workcover, the relevant local authorities, Legislations and Australian Standards. No project is commenced without preparation of detailed risk assessments and production of specific SWMS. This is the cornerstone of our WH&S policies. Chalouhi offers a complete service to clients including remediation methodolgy and our early involvement in the remediation process can result in major cost savings. We work confidentially and alongside with clients to develop an appropriate treatment and disposal option to suit individual client needs. Chalouhi's management of their environmental impact is of a high priority for all employees. Creating awareness among employees, suppliers and clients of the potential environmental impact of operations assists us all to work towards minimising these effects.
