1 Psitin Descriptin: ATM-Debit Card Fraud Services Specialist Department: Member, ATM-Debit Card Services Department Divisin: Financial Center Services FLSA Status: Nn Exempt Lcatin: Rme HQ Created: March 2018 PURPOSE: Cnsistent with the credit unin missin f prviding ur members the right financial services t live life, dream big and achieve financial success, the ATM-Debit Card Fraud Services Specialist will: I. Supprt the administratin and peratinal staff f the Member ATM & Debit Card Services in cnjunctin with plicies and prgrams that supprt and further the credit unin and the strategic gals and bjectives. Wrk independently and/r cllabratively with thers t maintain efficient prcedures and t answer any cncerns/issues/questins accurately and timely that relate t prducts supprted by the Member ATM & Debit Card Services. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: I. Respnsible fr fraud relating t a members Debit Card used electrnically. This includes: Filing the necessary claims with CUNA Fllwing up with the prper plice agencies and sending the necessary dcumentatin and letter indicating CU is the victim (nce prvisinal credit is given). Fllwing up with law enfrcement t get any/all restitutin wed t CU nce judgements have been made. Tracking all fraud being fllwed with law enfrcement as well as recveries (and prviding updates mnthly t Manager). II. Maintains files and dcuments activities investigated and related t fraud cases. (using synapsis n all accunts) III. Respnsible fr keeping Manager infrmed f fraud activity trends. IV. Respnsible fr wrking with Falcn and keeping all strategies in place/reviewing f strategies t determine if they can be remved/reduced. Keeping them in a single surce fr quick department review as necessary. Respnsible fr using TrueCards as necessary t determine cmprmise lcatins (cmmn pints f cmprmise) as well as velcity checks n daily bases. V. Respnsible fr cmpliance audit n mnthly basis fr card instant issuance prgram and making sure that the necessary recmmendatins/mandates (as per VISA guidance) are fllwed. VI. Respnsible fr the VISA Cams ntificatins/reprts and prviding t Manager fr decisin and then: Reacting t decisin Sending letters Shutting dwn cards Ordering new cards Lgging CAMS reprt in file (with prper infrmatin)
2 VII. Investigating Use TrueCards t key all CAMS in and try and find ut Pint f Cmprmise VIII. View camera s daily fr the Card rm fr VISA cmpliance. I. Respnsible fr prcessing the Debit Card Clse Out packages fr disputes and lgging the dispute fr accurate insurance tracking.. I. Prvide exemplary member service by actively listening, identifying and ffering slutins in a timely/prfessinal manner, maintaining cnfidentiality and exceeding the members expectatin. (MVP-1Team). II. Recncile varius GL s (as assigned by Manager) by the 13 th f each mnth and frward t Manager, Autmated Delivery Systems (this includes making r shwing what crrectins are being made as well as balancers signature). III. Perfrm file maintenance and mnitr varius assigned reprts daily, as needed and as assigned. IV. Prcess varius ATM/Debit Card duties as assigned. V. Knw the apprpriate Regulatins, which include Z, E, and CC. Secndary I. Respnsible fr the prductin and mailing f all types f debit cards thrughut the day frm due t wears lst/stlen, abuse etc. This includes pulling the queue f cards at least three times a day, printing cards, auditing with dept. f cards made, preparing fr mail and sealing them. II. Respnsible fr equipment f card wizard machine and inventry laded int machines. In the AM and PM, cards/fil are t be stred in lcked vault inside a lcked canister. This is t be perfrmed under dual cntrl. III. Back up fr clleagues in Member ATM & Debit Card Services COMPETENCIES: MEMBER SERVICE & CUSTOMER SERVICE: Demnstrates internal / external curtesy and prfessinalism tward member and emplyee custmers, practices exemplary service, anticipates needs in advance f being asked and effectively reslves situatins / issues. Shuld als have a minimum f ne-year previus experience in financial, accunting r electrnic cmmunicatins envirnment. Wuld like t see experience in bank r credit unin n-line systems. Will be required n ccasin t wrk nights, weekends r ff-hurs. Must be able t wrk regardless f the weather. Subject t temprary shift changes r dd wrkweeks, including weekends. May wrk 10-hur r mre shifts, depending n the need. Will be called upn t wrk extra hurs fr special prcessing r when ther emplyees are sick, ut n vacatin r as needed. Must als be able t travel within New Yrk State, as required.
