1 2016 Vendor Recognition Program (February 16, 2016 February 15, 2017) The NEGCSA Vendor Recognition Program is designed to provide affordable marketing opportunities for our vendors, recognize your generous support, help defray costs associated with NEGCSA functions, and generate greater financial stability for the association. Our recognition program provides numerous opportunities for each vendor to present your products and/or services to numerous professional turfgrass managers throughout the Greater Capital Region of New York State and Berkshire Region of Massachusetts, who are directly responsible for making purchasing decisions. The NEGCSA recognizes that a unique economic dynamic exists within the turfgrass management industry and there are numerous opportunities for vendors to highlight their products in the marketplace. We greatly appreciate all who choose to support our association and place tremendous value in their input. After several conversations with numerous vendors this past season, the NEGCSA has adapted its recognition program to reflect their expressed commentary in regards to annual recognition opportunities and the newsletter Our Collaborator. Enclosed you will find a detailed description of the association newsletter - Our Collaborator and NEGCSA Vendor Recognition Program with contract pricing for the 2016 season. The deadline for submitting annual sponsorship information is February 15, This allows for ample time to produce and distribute the appropriate media associated with each level of sponsorship. Please mail or fax your sponsorship information and payment by the agreed upon date in the contract. Since we need your payment to help cover our costs, anyone not paid in accordance with the terms of their contract will have to be dropped. Please note: Your annual dues payment of $ for Affiliate Membership will be invoiced separately. If you are a non-member and wish to join the association please contact the NEGCSA office. Our Vendor Recognition Program provides a cost-effective way for our vendors to get maximum exposure for their companies, while at the same time, supporting the NEGCSA in its efforts to promote the turfgrass management industry through environmental initiatives, educational opportunities, and university research. 2 Our Collaborator Our Collaborator has been the official publication of the NEGCSA since 1932, reaching a diverse group of golf course superintendents and turfgrass professionals throughout upstate New York and western Massachusetts. In 2016, we are continuing Our Collaborator as a color print version. This version will be mailed to our members. The print version will also be available as an electronic version which will be ed to all our members. FORMAT: Four (4) quarterly issues produced in color print and electronically. Even if you have advertised with us in the past, we require that you submit a new color version of your ad to ensure the appropriate branding of your company. We strongly recommend 4-color ads for the best spotlight on your company. Ad sizes are as follows: Ad Size Dimensions (Width x Height) Inside Cover 7.5 x 10 Half-page 7.5" x 5" 1/4 page 3.75" x 5" 1/8 page 3.75" x 2.5" Business Card Sized to fit INSIDE COVER: Two opportunities per issue are available. The inside front cover will be sold first, followed by the inside back cover. They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. INSERTS: Two-page insert - $275/issue; Four-page insert - $375/issue. There may be multiple inserts in a single issue, with no competing companies in the same issue. All inserts must be 8 ½ x 11 and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Inserts must be submitted by the deadlines described below. CHANGES: You may run the same ad in every issue or you may change as often as you wish. You must submit changes by the deadline indicated or changes will be held until the next issue. 5 MEETING Recognition Opportunities Annual Meeting/January Educational Symposium The Annual Meeting is the membership business meeting where all members are encouraged to attend and participate in the affairs of the association. The purpose of the meeting is to review the past year s activities, vote on by-law changes or amendments, and elect the officers and directors of the NEGCSA Board of Directors. Our Annual Meeting now corresponds with our January Educational Symposium which is usually held during the middle of the month. This meeting is well attended with around 100 members and guests. This meeting allows for networking and is full of GCSAA education points and DEC credits. Title Sponsorship - $1,000 or (2) $500/each Fall Finale Complimentary registration for meeting: Title Sponsor (4); Partner Sponsor (2) Company logo on event signage at registration table. The Fall Finale is our final official golf/meeting event of the year and is usually held in the first two weeks of October. This is the last chance for vendors and superintendents to mingle before the start of the Early-Order season. Take this chance to briefly discuss your product line, featured products, and upcoming early-order programs or promotions.
