In submitting his Proposal, the undersigned agrees to the following: 1. Hold proposal open for acceptance 60 days. 2. Accept right of Owner to reject any or all proposals, to waive formalities and to accept proposal which Owner considers most advantageous. 3. Enter into and execute the contract, if awarded, for the Base Proposal and accepted Alternate Proposals. 4. Complete work in accordance with the Contract Documents within the stipulated contract time. 5. The undersigned proposer does hereby declare and stipulate that this proposal is made in good faith, without collusion or connection with any other person or persons proposing for the same work, and that it is made in pursuance of and subject to all the terms and conditions of the advertisements, proposal requirements, the proposed construction contract, and the contract documents, including the plans pertaining to the work to be done, all of which have been examined by the undersigned. The undersigned further agrees that he will provide all necessary tools and apparatus, do all work, furnish all materials, and do everything required to carry out the work covered by this proposal, in strict accordance with the contract documents, and the requirements pertaining thereto, for the sum of sums set forth. 2 I. ALTERNATES A. Alternate Number 1: Provide painted gypsum board on metal studs at all corridor walls, in lieu of wall tile. Undersigned agrees to complete the Work of Alternate Number 1 for a reduction to the lump B. Alternate No. 2A: Provide 4 Solatubes at Area A and 4 Solatubes at Area B for a total of 8 Solatubes, in lieu of clerestories at Area B and C. This work should include roofing a structure at required. Undersigned agrees to complete the Work of Alternate Number 2A for a reduction to the lump C. Alternate No. 2B: Provide continuous roof without penetrations above corridors in Area B and Area C, in lieu of clerestories at Area A and B. Undersigned agrees to complete the Work of Alternate Number 2B for a reduction to the lump D. Alternate No. 3: Provide through body color tile at Lobby, in lieu of terrazzo. Undersigned agrees to complete the Work of Alternate Number 3 for a reduction to the lump E. Alternate No. 4: Provide 25 coat hooks on millwork rail in each Classroom, in lieu of cubbies.
