This, together with our welded wire mesh, enables a greater degree of prefabrication for all types of slabs, assisting builders in fulfiling BCA s requirement that 65% of slabs in local building structures have to be prefabricated. You will also find in this issue other examples of our extensive range of prefabricated products used in some of our recent projects which have allowed their respective building contractors to save time, labour and money. Faster 2 workers took 3 hours to complete placing the cages for 1 drop panel. Conventional method of tying loose links will take 2 workers 6 hours to complete. 100% productivity improvement. 11

Mesh scheduled as large sheets of upto 8.0m (L) X 2.5m (W) to minimise lapping. Mesh manufactured and packed in laying sequence to avoid searching and double handling on site.

13 Road - Post-tensioned Slab Mesh Slab 25% Time Savings 1. Large sheet of bottom mesh easily carried and laid by 4 workers. 2. Slab reinforcement completed for casting. Cheaper 5 workers took 2 days to complete laying top and bottom mesh for an area of 2400m 2. Large sheet configuration and sequential packing improved mesh laying productivity by 25%. 13
