1 TEACH Trust Key Objectives. The Academy Trust`s objects are specifically restricted to the following, a) To advance for the public benefit education in the United Kingdom, in particular establishing, maintaining, carrying on, managing and developing schools offering a broad and balanced curriculum, providing fulltime or part time education for children of compulsory school b) To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the areas in which the Academies are situated the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants. As a Multi Academy Trust we have established 3 clear strategic aims built on our shared vision and values. Our more detailed corporate Development Plan gives more detail behind this summary. Key Objectives 2015/16 What will we do? Who will Lead? Timescale What will success look like? Objective One Raise standards in Trust Schools Appoint a single Executive Head over the 4 schools Executive Head Summer 2015 Standards of attainment will improve in all 4 Trust schools. Robust Performance management of staff. Analyse data Agree assessment methodology and practice Ensure our self evaluation process is robust for each school through regular classroom observation/book scrutiny. Tackle underachievement of Autumn 2015 Autumn term 2015 All staff are clear of how they can contribute to the success of the Trust. Staff feel proud to work for the TEACH Trust Admissions to Trust schools increase. Ofsted judgements are at least good.

2 our disadvantaged children through quality first teaching, strong pastoral support, evidence based intervention etc Appoint Safeguarding and Pupil Premium Champion in each school Work collaboratively through sub group meetings at all levels Have a clear plan to address needs of Pupil Premium children LA reviews are rag rated as green for all Trust schools. Questionnaires to parents and staff evidence satisfaction and positive feedback Trustees and local governors know each schools strengths and areas for development and actively support improvement. Objective 2 Build Capacity at all levels Appoint a separate CEO from the Exec.Head to build capacity Appoint a professional Clerk Ensure Trust and local governance is fit for purpose by ensuring all Trustees and Local governors understand their role and the contribution they can make. Review temporary leadership structure and secure permanent Chair and CEO By summer 2016 Performance Management of senior leaders is clear and holds them to account. Robust process for the appointment of new Trustees and local governors. Skills audit. Interviews Trustees/local governors are clear of their roles and responsibilities.

3 structure/appointments for September 2016 Ensure pay structure is attractive and equitable in order to retain and recruit high quality staff. Advertise for new staff early when possible due to pressures re recruitment. Maintain close relationship with Poole SCITT (Outstanding provider of ITT) Review staff appointments across the Trust schools (Admin, Site Management, TA, MDSA etc) to ensure efficiency of deployment Ensure communication is effective across the Trust through consideration of ICT functions. There is a clear structure in place to ensure good communication with local community groups, parents etc Trust and local governors have an annual review with Chair. Trust/governance attendance is closely tracked Trustees/LGB are held to account for their contribution. Nolan principles are adhered to. Structure and practice is regularly reviewed. CEO remains Chair of the SCITT Management Board Trust School representatives work in partnership with Poole SCITT Network Manager has been appointed for the Trust Feedback from community representatives evidence

Annual returns are completed on time Requirements of Company House are met Accountancy reports list minor if any concerns. Trust is fully informed of financial position and is able to take strategic resource decisions. Policy documentation meets statutory requirements.
