In collaboration with the Global Training Manager, you will have responsibility for the clinical training of BK Ultrasound s sales & application employees, our partners and our end-users. You will play a major role in the team and will work across the entire global organization. The majority of your time will be spent educating your colleagues in the clinical use of BK Ultrasound products. The role of Global Training Application Specialist will involve significant travel and working directly in different markets with our sales and applications specialists, partners and end-users. You will also play an important role in building up reference sites in our key areas of urology and surgery. You will have a clinical background as a sonographer, preferably with experience in ultrasound for urology and surgery. You must be technically minded and have experience from within the ultrasound industry. Experience with teaching, both classroom and webbased, as well as preparation of study materials is an advantage. Your main task is to develop and execute training initiatives that will help to drive growth for BK Ultrasound products. Expect up to 80 days travel per year. The position reports to the Global Training Manager. Key Requirements: Trained sonographer or similar Experience with training from medical device industry preferable Fluent in oral and written English Energetic and a result-oriented self-starter Highly collaborative team player with winning mentality Able to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure Creative and flexible and able to adapt to new situations in a dynamic environment Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication and written skills BK Ultrasound develops, manufactures and sells ultrasound products to hospitals and private medical clinics. 3 Global Training Department We are part of a global organisation with our office in the European Headquarters in Herlev, Denmark. The Global Training Department is a new addition to our organisation and ensures that we focus on training of our own employees, distribution partners and end-users. The department currently consists of global training manager Benedikte Kröll, and is led by Mark Maris, VP European Direct Sales. We want to build up a good balance of both clinical and commercial competences in the department. We perform classroom teaching and webinars as well as developing online training material and arranging workshops.
