1 Fifth Annual Bear Lake Classic Online Pasture Bid-Off Sale Online Bidding Instructions Registration: You must first register with Bushman Cattle Company before you are able to bid on calves. Step One: Select the Click Here to Register to Bid link at the top center of the website.

2 Step Two: Read the Terms and Conditions of the Sale. Then fill the in empty information fields below the terms and conditions of the sale. After you have filled out the buyer information check the I HAVE READ AND ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THIS AUCTION box and then click Submit Registration Form button on the bottom of the screen. Step Three: Within 24 hours you will receive a phone call from Bushman Cattle Company to confirm your registration for the Bear Lake Classic Club Calf Sale. Step Four: You will then receive a with your bidder number and at that point you will be activated to bid on the calves up for auction.

3 Placing Bids on Calves in the Bear Lake Classic Club Calf Sale: Step One: Select the CLICK HERE TO VIEW AND PLACE BIDS ON CALVES UP FOR AUCTION link at the top of the website auction page. Step Two: View the calves being offered in the auction, scrolling up and down the page. Calves are in order according to weight, heaviest to lightest.

4 Step Three: Once bidding opens you will then see on the right hand side of the site the following categories. Bids: This will show you how many bids are on each lot number selling. High Bidder: This will show you who is the highest bidder number on that lot number and the current amount. Next Bid Required This will tell you the next required bid on that particular calf. You can bid higher than that bid but you cannot bid lower. Your Bid This is the location that you place your bid. Maximum Bid This feature allows you to place the maximum bid that you would like to bid on a calf. This feature will not be seen by anyone but yourself. For example, if you have a budget of $1500 you place that in the maximum bid section and the sale software will automatically bid for you are out bid. So if the calf is at 1250, an there is a bid at 1300 the software will take it to 1350 for you.

5 Step Four: Once you have entered your bid(s) on the lot(s) or calves that you intend to bid on you scroll to the BOTTOM of the page and enter your bidder number, password, and click Submit Bids.

6 Step Five: After you click place bids the sale will ask you to accept the terms of the sale. This will be the last time you will be asked to accept the terms. Step Six: You will then be asked to confirm the bids that you have placed. Please review these carefully. Once you place the bids you may not retract your bids. Step Seven: Review your bids carefully and then click Submit Bids. After the bids have been submitted you will be returned to the sale page.

7 I have been outbid, now what? Step One: Scroll to the bottom of the screen and enter your bidder number and password. Then click Review Bids. This will bring a screen up that will allow you to view only the calves that you have bid on. If you have been out bid there will be a red arrow indicating that you have been out bid. Simply put the new bid in to the right side of the website, and scroll down and hit submit. You will be asked to review and confirm, then click submit. Turn to Next Page!

8 What is Sale Extended? To make bidding fairer and avoid who can bid the fastest, the entire sale will extend ten minutes if there is a bid on any calf in the sale within the last ten minutes of the sale. This will repeat until there is no bidding that takes place for ten minutes on any calf in the sale. At that point the sale will end.
