Role expectations and responsibilities that contribute to the successful delivery of our Corporate Strategy I am committed to putting customers first, creating a personalised experience throughout all stages of the customer journey. I ensure our procedures are followed and are regularly reviewed to provide assurance and compliance. I advise on training sessions for the Group where necessary. I support & assist to ensure that the Group has a legally compliant fire risk assessment programme. I support & assist to ensure that the Property Maintenance & Investment team has a fire safety programme of works and policies and ensure collaborative work is developed with Fire Authorities and that all programmes are set up with ongoing monitoring systems. I work with other parts of the organisation to advise on fire safety issues so that good practice is mainstreamed in all activities of the Group. I collate fire incident reports and undertake necessary investigation where appropriate. I am able to undertake intrusive and non-intrusive fire risk assessments (Fire Survey types 1-4). I work collaboratively and positively influence colleagues and stakeholders. I ensure effective and timely performance reporting and keep under review. I regularly monitor and manage expenditure against budget. I ensure achievement of key performance indicators and work with my colleagues to ensure that my area exceeds targets. I plan and deliver continuous improvements to services, managing change effectively. I understand the importance of credible, up to date customer and property data and prioritise improving the quality of our data to enable customer centric services. I embrace diversity and inclusion, which ensures better outcomes for our customers and our team. Safeguarding: I act to ensure that customers are safe and ensure my team proactively progress safeguarding issues with the appropriate agencies. I follow all steps outlined in individual and environmental risk assessments as appropriate and follow the Local Authority Adult and Children Safeguarding procedure in conjunction with SHG policies and procedures. I work in conjunction with the Risk Management framework, encompassing Health and Safety, Data Protection and demonstrate effective controls and compliance with all statutory, regulatory and policy requirements relating to the management of the business. I provide out of hours service support, providing advice, guidance or instructions. Where appropriate I attend site and/or arrange for contractors and colleagues to attend site or co-ordinate emergency works/liaise with emergency services as appropriate. I report appropriately on the next day s business.
