31 Preliminary Findings Each ASEAN member has a unique AIS - expertise focus, priorities and outlook of actors, institutions, and governance vary; so do character, culture, values, outputs and performance. The challenge is how make its unique AIS robust and fecund. With certain adjustments, traits and strategies of successful AIS within the ASEAN region as well as from all over the world could possibly be adopted and implemented.
