4 Venue of the meeting The international symposium on new approaches to understanding the basis of Multiple Sclerosis will be held in the Auditorium of the Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe of Valencia (Spain). The Museum, designed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, has an Auditorium of square metres, that is a very good place for the meeting. The emblematic projects have made Valencia into a modern city with a history of over two thousand years. The city is easily accessed by road, rail, sea and air. Its culture, cuisine and academic tradition, as well as its location on the Mediterranean coast and its pleasant weather, makes it a nice place for this symposium. Call for abstracts The organizers invite all interested people to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation. Acceptance will be based upon quality of submissions with relevance to this Symposium. Authors wishing to present a communication as a poster or, if selected by the organizing committee, as an oral communication, should send an Abstract. Most of these communications will be presented as posters. The abstract, not exceeding one page in length (width 12 cm; height 20 cm, font size 12), single-spaced, should be sent preferably by to catedrasg@fundacioncac.es Deadline for submission of abstracts is May 25, Each abstract must include: title (all CAPITAL LETTERS), name for each author (presenting author must be underlined). After the last author s name, state each author s institutional or organizational address. The abstract will be reproduced as received for inclusion in the Symposium proceedings. It will not be edited. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by June 3,
