5 EMI WE UNDERSTAND BREWING TECHNOLOGY EMI - Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence The most important features of the system created by MDJ Electronic include: From 2011 to 2014 MDJ Electronic participated in an international project to create an EMI system for Sabmiller. The project involved collecting and processing data from brewhouses, fermentation tanks, lagering cellars, filtering and filling systems, then transferring this data to EMI management modules supplied by Siemens. This system generates several thousand KOPs (Key Operating Points) and several hundred reports. The measurement section of the EMI system was based on WinCC SCADA. The tasks performed also included monitoring the consumption of utilities. For this purpose MDJ Electronic supplied and installed several hundred flow meters for water, degassed water, compressed air, steam and carbon dioxide, as well as electricity meters, and devices for measuring chilling and heat energy.
