21 EIS Project EIS December 2014 December 2014 THU FRI SAT SUN MON TUE WED THU FRI Delivery Ceremony H175 2 Arrival 2 x H175 in Den Helder First Commercial Flight On Site training: - Helideck crew, ground handling, Fire brigade - Pilot line training - Familiarization flights - CAA audits & approval Thanks to the structured preparation, NHV was able to start flying 2 aircraft commercially, 8 days after delivery of the aircraft 21

34 Lessons Learned The project of launching a new helicopter type from scratch is intensive but rewarding Extensive risk management and dedicated teams are essential to ensure a SAFE entry into service. Strong partnership between OEM & Operator is crucial Strong follow up is crucial to ensure the right product development. Translating the needs from our customers to our suppliers is crucial to ensure the right service level. These lessons learned were already useful for the EIS of AW169 this summer and will serve as the basis for future EIS of new types 34
