Having a collaboration platform that brings together all these elements, for me, is perfect. 3 MARKET AGILITY THE NEW PARADIGM OF BUILT TO LAST Data and tool interoperability problems make the cost of collaboration too high... It s clunky to pass information back and forth between suppliers and us. Almost none of our small suppliers are even capable of electronic commerce with us, not to mention designs. (Large Original Equipment Manufacturer) inability to collaborate within siloed business units and across the supply chain results in low agility... In our industry, the competitor that s best at managing the supply chain is probably going to be the most successful competitor over time. It s a condition of success. (Fortune 500 Industrial Company) reduced agility leads to point solutions which are brittle and inflexible. The average enterprise has over 600 cloud applications, which is fragmenting critical customer data and workflows. (Gartner, Inc.) This is how competitive advantage is lost 3
