3 1 ICM 2 INSURANCE CONTRACT MANAGER ICM 2, product of the company Positive s.r.o., is an information system (so called ERP 1 ), which is intended for financial counsellors and insurance mediators insurance brokers and agents, for administration of insurance contracts, control and dividing of incoming provisions and support of chosen business processes. ICM 2 is process oriented system, which can be used by insurance mediators, who offer life insurance, non-life insurance, investment funds or other bank products. The work of an insurance mediator demands the evidence of insurance contracts with immediately accessible reviews such as portfolio of insurance contracts, terminative contracts, annual contracts, list of insurance contracts of a particular client with details, or status of processing an incident. The ICM system is used by the mediators and brokers since Until 2008 more than 30 licences were sold. The mission of the information system ICM 2 is to integrate the information systems and processes in the insurance sector on the interoperability principle. The effect of the vertical integration of the information processes of the mediator is administration of MLM structure (creating the reviews and automatization of the processes related to HR). 4 2 ICM 2 NEW VERSION OF ICM Increasing demands on information system from side of our customers and advantages, which bring new technologies led to development of the new version of the system ICM 2. This modern and technologically advanced application is created on web technology, using the script language PHP and MySQL database. The whole system is created in the company framework WebDoors. 2.1 SWITCHING TO HIGHER VERSION Switching to higher version of the information system ICM 2 brought a lot of advantages: internet version of ICM 2 is a client-server application and works on base of the so called thin client. The application is immediately after installing to server accessible by means of internet browser (preferably Mozilla Firefox, eventually MS Internet Explorer), which enables the user to use the application also through internet. increasing of the security of personal data regarding the demands of actual legislative. Logged are mainly login attempts or recording of changes done in the evidence records. Personal data are arranged and saved in a specialized database, which is secured according to the Act No. 428/2002 Coll. on the Protection of the Personal Data as amended. In general it is possible to secure a high degree of accessibility by a high degree of assecuration when all security guidelines and recommendations are kept User rights The system enables to define user rights for particular users, which are divided into groups. All users in the same group have the same competences. The competences are defined for particular modules. By this way it is possible to secure and define which modules can particular user group see, or who can work with which modules. It may come also to a situation that a user has right to see a concrete module but cannot work with it. 8

11 4 TECHNICAL PARAMETERS 4.1 USED TECHNOLOGY ICM 2 MLM version is application of client-server type with access through thin client (preferably Mozilla Firefox, contingent MS Internet Explorer) in the intranet or internet, with multi-layer architecture (database, application and presentation layer are separated). As the database server is used MySQL server. Application (business) layer and presentation layer use progressive technology PHP. Using this technology also offers fulfilment of the demand of quick application development. The whole system ICM 2 is created in the company framework WebDoors. By operating this system it is possible to use http SSL/TLS protection. Login of the user is realised with authentication by means of username and password, where it is possible to configure the system so, that the browser doesn t save them. System contains also event logging and records, which changes were done in the database by particular users. 4.2 SYSTEM INSTALLATION With regard to the higher described used technologies, the ICM 2 MLM version can be installed to any PC, which has installed all needed software. Hardware parameters must fulfil all demands on installation of mentioned software equipment. It is also needed to take in consideration the amount of users, who will work with the system at once. Further services like e.g. installation of application, additional education or creating of adaptations of the information system as well as the user guide based on specific client requirements will be done upon order. For these services we charge hour rate according to actual price list. All prices are exclusive VAT. To these prices we charge the VAT following actual tariff rate.
