3 Production Release Notification This release notification contains important information about changes that affect the Converge application users. General information is included in this notification. Enhancements This release includes the following new features: DCC SSL DCC Rate Provider field Hosted Payment card short description (API Response) Receipt form Error URL Next Gen Canadian EMV Next Gen Reporting Note: For Software Technical Support call , option 2. If you need training, contact the Merchant Activation Department at , and then follow prompts. DCC 2.0 Rate Provider Field Existing merchants can enable the DCC Rate Provider field, for Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) if required. The DCC Rate Provider field value is used to return the name of the entity that provided the currency exchange rate. Card Short Description The card brand is returned in the response (Ex: Visa, MC, AmEx). Elavon, Incorporated

4 Card Type The Payment type is returned in the response (Ex: Credit Card, Debit Card, etc.). SSL Merchant Transaction ID Merchants can send a unique reference number with each transaction. This is stored in the Converge database. In the future release, we will let merchants query using the merchant transaction id, and enhance dupe checks. NextGen Canadian EMV EMV Chip Payments via the Ingenico ipp320 device are now possible in Converge NextGen ( Card types supported include: Card Brands: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Interac (Canadian Debit). Additional Features Device Encryption: All Card Numbers are encrypted via the ipp320 device before transmission to Converge. Encrypted Hand Key: Users can hand key the card number on the ipp320 device taking advantage of encryption that is unavailable when manually entering the card number via the computer keyboard. EMV Contactless: NextGen Converge now supports Interac Flash and other contactless forms of EMV processing New User Interface: Converge NextGen offers a more modern and intuitive User Interface. The updates to the user Interface focus on a clean look and feel, reducing unnecessary user actions and providing clear data and information to the user. Note: To process EMV transactions on Converge NextGen you must have an encrypted EMV compatible device provided by Elavon (currently limited to the Ingenico ipp320). Users must also download the Canadian version of the device support software ConvergeConnect. EMV for Converge NextGen is currently only available in Canada. EMV for the US is only supported on Converge Classic. Elavon, Incorporated

5 Reporting Reporting enhancements for the January 2017 release are described in this section, including: Transaction Search Filters Sales Summary Report Transaction Search Filters The following Search filters allow you to find specific transactions: Begin by defining a date range. Use different search filters: Payment Type, Transaction Type, Transaction Status, Amount, Card Number, Cardholder Name, Transaction ID, Batch ID, User ID, Expiration Date, Invoice Number and Customer Code. Easily add or remove specific filters to refine your selection without re-building the entire search. Sort results in ascending or descending order. Export the results in either CSV or XML file formats. Change terminals in your search, without resetting search parameters. Sales Summary Report The Sales Summary report is a graphical and tabular representation of your total counts and dollar amounts for transactions over a given time period To generate a Sales Summary Report The Sales Summary Report can be generated by either choosing calendar filters or a custom date range. Calendar filters: Choose the canned Month, Week or Year filters which will show your data for both the current selected time period along with a comparison of your transactions in the previous time period. Choose a custom date range: o o o Export the tabular results in either CSV or XML file formats Export the Graphical results in either PNG, JPEG, PDF or SVG file formats Change terminals in your search, without resetting search parameters.
