5 Project Management and Business Process Management (BPM) Discipline is the suppression of base desires (expedition focus) Project management a project consists of a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service or result A business process is a collection of related, structured activities or tasks that produce a specific service or product Limited time No/little experience Unique High risk Estimated results Continuous Relevant experience Repetitive Low risk Predictable results

9 Operational Facts: From 2012 till 2014 Core team of 15 people (almost same team over these 2 years) Used Lean Thinking both in Project Management Process Improvement Results from the baseline: Increased work efficiency by 23% / vessel mobilization Increased work efficiency by 26% / project preparation phase Reduced cost of poor quality 13% / project Increased operational capacity I blame it on Lean!!!
