As a healthcare compliance specialist, she works with physicians, dentists, chiropractors, group practices, DME suppliers, home health companies and others. She is experienced in HIPAA, billing and coding issues, payer audits and defense audits, and investigations. Angela has experience with Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, Humana, United Healthcare, Amerigroup and Medicare/Medicaid Managed Care Plans. Angela creates and provides HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification compliance programs, policies, all internal training related to management, regulatory issues, billing, coding and cash flow analysis. She is experienced in private and government audits and investigations, self-disclosures and internal investigations and understands the importance of being proactive based on her experience. Carmen Purcell-Vasquez has spent the last 20 years in the Durable Medical Equipment industry with more than 15 years in operations and 7 years with Fastrack Healthcare Solutions as a Senior Training and Implementation Specialist.
