His current scope includes the operational and strategic management of all IS/IT assets in the Americas Hemisphere. Mr. Kys joined Lafarge in 2003 as the Vice President, PMO to oversee major IS/IT projects. In 2004, Mr. Kys assumed a more operational role as VP IT for the Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete product line, overseeing the operational IS/IT management for the company s 900+ locations. In 2007, Mr. Kys assumed the CIO role. In 2008, the role expanded into the Latin American and South American markets. Prior to his career at Lafarge, Mr. Kys held the position of a management consultant, predominately working in the Telecom industry. He specialized in large transformation projects including mergers, acquisitions, and enterprise reorganizations specifically including the creation of multinational service centers. Lyle Ekdahl is Group Vice President General Manager of 's JD Edwards product family, including JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and JD Edwards World. Previously, Mr. Ekdahl led the product strategy team for the full JD Edwards product line. Prior to joining JD Edwards in 2003, Mr. Ekdahl served in executive and management roles at Siebel, Scopus Technology, Platinum Software, and Channelpoint.
