5 3. MODIFICATIONS TO SUPPLEMENTAL NOTES Notes 4 and 5 of Supplemental Notes to be replaced with the following. Add new Supplemental Notes #38 and # Overall Project Schedule. The following general project schedule has been established. 5/21/2015 Pre-Bid Meeting onsite (1 p.m.) 7/1//2015 Bid Opening (6 p.m.) 7/15/2015 Project Award 8/15/2015 Construction Start 5. Funding Sources. This project is in part funded by a grant from the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation through Title 9 of the Environmental Protection Act of Under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business (MWBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts. The following goals have been set for this project: 8% of the grant value for MBE s and 7% of the grant value for WBE s. The 15% is based on the grant amount (not total project cost). At a minimum, contractor must retain at least $64,000 in services from an MBE sub or supplier, and $56,000 from a WBE. If the goals cannot be met, contractors may fill out Waiver Request forms with back up information provided to justify the waiver. The successful bidder may be required to furnish reports showing the participation of various business enterprises of subcontractors and suppliers on the contract. Additional funding is through Rural Development, U.S. Department of Agriculture. All payments to the Contractor will be made directly by the Owner. 38. Accessible Stage Lift. Corrections in Specification Section Vertical Platform Lifts: a B.5 to read 5. Car Access: Front/rear exit (in lieu of front/side exit). b. Eliminate 2.02 B.12 (emergency battery operation). For emergency operation, manual crank up/down will be used. CHANGES TO THE MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Specification Section Temperature Controls: a. Part 1.06/A 1) ADD Automated Logic as an approved manufacturer. b. Part 2.04/A/4 1) ADD section to read: 4. Space Sensors: a. Standard space sensor shall be available in an off white enclosure for mounting in a standard electrical box. Mount at 60 AFF. b. Where blank plate sensors are required, plate shall be stainless steel face attached to electrical box. c. Where manual overrides are required, the sensor housing shall feature both an optional sliding mechanism for adjusting the space temperature set point, as well as a push button for selecting after hours operation. Where local display is specified, the sensor shall incorporate either an LED or LCD display for viewing the space temperature set point or other operator selectable parameters. Using built in buttons, the operators shall be able to adjust set points directly from the sensor. The DDC system shall program in high and low limits not to be exceeded regardless of temperature set point on local sensor.
