1 GREATER ALBANY PUBLIC SCHOOLS LAFAYETTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Albany, Oregon GLAS Project No ADDENDUM NUMBER THREE April 19, 2018 Page 1 of 2 This addendum is issued to clarify, change, and correct the Project Manual and Contract Documents and shall form part of the Contract. SPECIFICATIONS 1. Section , Heating Boilers and Equipment 1) Article 2.2 B and C: Revise as follows. B. Poly Propylene: The Vent System shall be tested and listed to UL-1738 and ULC-S636 for use with Category II, III and IV condensing boilers. Poly Propylene system shall be rated for use with maximum flue gas temperatures of 230ºF (110ºC) and maximum vent pressure of 20" of water column. InnoFlue or approved. C. Provide shop drawings with submittals showing calculations for flue sizing based on site conditions including (but not limited to) boiler manufacture, boiler location, combustion air source, termination location and number of devices. Shop drawings shall show each stack component device to be used in the installation. B. Boiler Flue: 1. Schedule 80: Poly (vinyl chloride) (ASTM D1784) (PVC) plastic drain, waste and vent pipe (ASTM D2665 and D1785) and fittings (ASTM D2665) (DWV). 2. For Combustion Air Schedule 40 Meeting same standards are allowed. 3. Fittings: Provide fittings of the type indicated, matching piping manufacture. Where not otherwise indicated, provide socket style, solvent weld fittings produced and recommended for the service indicated by the piping manufacturer. 2. Section , HVAC Units 1) Article 1.4, C: New paragraph C from Addendum 2 with revisions as follows. C. Air handlers (Section 2.1 & 2.5) and unit ventilator are pre-purchased by the Owner. Units are delivered to GAPS (Greater Albany Public Schools) facility building. Contractor takes possession of the units once loaded on Contractors transport from GAPS facility yard to site. Contractor shall Owner will provide O & M documents for unit to Contractor for inclusion in close out documents per Section Contractor Owner is responsible for scheduling factory start-up of equipment. 3.
