As the architect, you are trying to explain to the client the architectural characteristics that you have selected for the one-story structure. 7 6) A business s water supply connection at the street is at elevation 257 feet. The elevation of the first floor is 281 feet and a first floor fixture elevation is 285 feet. Between the connection and a first floor fixture, there are 150 feet of 2 inch copper pipe, 75 feet of ¾ copper pipe and five (5) ¾ - 90 o elbows. Discharge through the fixture is 15 gpm. The equivalent length for a single ¾, 90 o elbow is 4 feet. The Hazen-Williams constant for copper pipe is 140. SHOW ALL WORK a.) 8 7) Your client has purchased a 10-acre abandoned mall parking lot in western New York, for development of a subdivision of single-family houses. The soil on this flat property is a well-drained, sandy loam. Estimate the runoff (cfs) under pre and postdevelopment (redevelopment) site conditions for the 10-year, 24-hour rainfall. See attached table and figure for additional information. Show all work in the space below.
