34 Double Lanyards When erecting beams or temporary roofs double lanyards allow the Scaffolder to remain clipped on when crabbing along a beam. When using one lanyard, scaffolders should not wrap the other one around their body or attach to toolbelt as this could cause the energy absorbing lanyard to fail.
