2 About The toolbox has been developed by EOS and ETTF in collaboration with national wood promotion councils with the aim to promote wood as a modern and sustainable building material for urban construction. The toolbox provides associations and their members, as well as national wood promotion councils, with information and tools to support their own campaigns, including access to a knowledge base of key messages and supporting research, a data sharing platform of best practice projects and a collection of media files. It creates synergies between the members for more effective communication. It provides members with arguments, images, etc. for their communication on wood.

14 Future: Potential event themes Urban Development, Rural Employment: demonstrating how lowcarbon timber construction can boost rural economies Growing Communities: there is no building we cannot in wood. Should we now be planning for entire timber communities? Future City, Future Forest: around the world, urban sprawl threatens forest habitats. Timber construction can guarantee future for forests as well as improve sustainable urban development. Timber Towers: How high can we go? Interior design: timber, sustainable by design Green society / circular economy: how timber can help drive a circular economy
15 Future: Outcomes Sponsorship: each event will be themed to give sponsorship opportunities for firms working in that sector or market across EU PR: media articles and opportunities based on event content Speakers: architects, designers, academics, policy makers rather than the timber industry. Like attracts like! Partners: to promote events to their networks (Your Customers!!) Open source: presentations etc will be available via website after event Open source 2: each event theme and structure can be replicated at national level by associations, promotional organisations etc Member firms can re-tweet content, upload content to their websites,
16 Conclusion: There is a huge gap on timber promotion at EU level The V 2.0 provides one means to address this gap Collaborative platform for whole industry Excellent content, provided by you Can be used to communicate to range of audiences Project can provide a lead for national activity National activity can be reproduced at EU level We need your input, your support The more you engage in the project, the more successful the outcomes A project plan 2016 is being finalised and will soon be presented to the associations, partners and their members.
